I took out my phone plugged in my ear buds put my playlist on shuffle, checked  some sc stories , then I received a notification from IG it

I take out an ear bud I look to my side and see the guys phone starting to turn off he says something under his breath.
I debate inside of me if I should offer to lend him my charger , I mean he'll probably waste most of it  but then again I  don't think I'll use it and I also don't want karma up in my heels waiting for the time to "make" my phone die and the person around me have a charger and not let me use it. I mean I  would like for someone to offer me their charger. I think about how he might be internally suffering (or maybe he's not like me) he's probably bored, considering the fact that only my padrino's are talking about I don't know what, something about politics and that the silence is fairly awkward. I make up a plan in my mind that I'll try to start a conversation with him about California, then offer the charger .I think it's a great plan but the thing is that I absolutely suck at starting conversations especially with guys .Right now I'm hesitating to talk .
But after all he is the unknown kiddo here, so if someone should be more uncomfortable than me it should be him.I mean i'm a nice person (not considering the fact that I care more about the charger that I probably won't use  ) OK kind of. Here goes nothing?

"So I heard you came from California" I said wrapping my ear buds around my phone and putting it in my book bag. Kinda trying to avoid look at him.

He analyzed my face for a while as if he were judging me then said flatly "Yeah from Sacramento"

"Wow west coast" I said attempting to continue the conversation because now he was looking out the window

He turns his attention to me and said

"It's not cool, not really. Coming all the way across the country in a car isn't so fun unless you like being in a car for so long to the point where your ass is numb.
Any ways there's nothing worth looking forward here in this state"

"Well your just a ball of sunshine aren't you and kid first of all it ain't My fault you have a crappy attitude and it's also not My fault you had to come here for whatever reason. Oh and whether your ass got numb ain't my business. And North Carolina isn't so bad, it just doesn't have palm trees or warm weather all the time"

"Nothing your saying is changing my mind about this place" he says clearly annoyed

I roll my eyes at him, then I take out my phone again, put in my ear buds put on a song, and just stare out the window. How can such a beauty be such a dick. And I thought I was rude. Seriously i'm mentally astonished.

Note to self : avoid that flop
