We got out out of my car and walked into the ER. I showed my badge to the nurse at the dest and told them we needed a rape kit and a doctor to check Isabelle's face. "Have a seat, a doctor will be with you shortly," the nurse said smiling. We took a seat and waited for a doctor. "Isabelle Shepard?" A doctor shouted, we got up and followed her to a cubicle.
- 𝙄𝙎𝘼𝘽𝙀𝙇𝙇𝙀 '𝙎 - 𝙋𝙊𝙑 -
"Hello Isabelle, my name is Dr Addison Stevens, if you could lie down on the bed please," the Doctor said smiling. I looked at Olivia worried but followed her instructions. I didn't want Olivia or Dr Stevens getting angry and telling my dad. "Izzy you can relax no one us going to hurt you," Olivia said gently. "Okay," i said and relaxed abit. There is something about Olivia trusting her that makes me trust her. When i settled on the bed a nurse came in making me jump. "Isabelle we are going to do a rape kit, its nothing to worry about, it will help the police catch the bast.... Sorry i mean man who did this okay?" Dr Stevens said. "O-Okay," i reply again.
I grab my coat, bag and phone, thank the doctor and leave the hospital with Olivia. "Lieutenant Benson?" I say. "Sweetie its Olivia or Liv to you," she says smiling. "Olivia?" I say smiling. "Yes Izzy?" She replies. "Are you going to take me back to my dads house?" I asked scared. "Izzy you are never going back to your dads house again, i am going to do everything in my power to make sure that man goes to prison. And stays there for a long time," she replies gently. "Then where am i going to go? I don't have any other family," i say sadly. "Well i have cleared it with CPS and if its okay with you then you can stay at my apartment with me and my son," she says. "But i dont want to get in the way of you and your son. And your son probably wont like me anyway," i say looking down. "Nonsense, Noah will love you, he loves meeting new people. And you will probably be able to meet him before you go to sleep. He likes to stay up late when I'm not there, when I'm there he is usually in bed by 8:30pm. But when Lucy is there, his babysitter, he usually wakes up to me coming home and talking to Lucy," she replies. "She likes to give his babysitter the runaround," she adds giggling. "Okay then if your sure its alright," i reply. We get in Olivia's car and drive to her apartment.
