My stomach growling is what woke me up. I hadn't eaten since lunch and all we had that day was rice and a slice of lunch meat. I wanted to get up but the bed was so warm and soft. I was practically swimming in blankets. I sat up and saw that the open curtains showed the dark night. The soft light of the moon was all that shown in the otherwise pitch black room. I pushed the blankets down and slid off the bed. The rug was soft between my bare toes. I wonder what time it is... I make my way through the room, feeling the wall until I found the doorknob. I opened the door revealing a dark hallway. Great. Using the wall make my way to the stairs. To safely get down them I sit and make my way down slowly. I repeat this until I'm in the place where the front door was. It was dark throughout most the manor from what I could see. Have they really gone to bed? What time is it? I walk down the hall, looking in every room. Maybe if I find the kitchens there will be a clock and I can find something to eat and the time. I opened the door to a room that had its light on. It seemed to be an office or something. It had a desk and a big leather chair. One wall was nothing but books and another had a bulletin board with a map of Gotham and different pins and pictures connected with red string. Finally, I spotted a clock sitting on the desk that read 8:20. Man, not even the girls home went to bed that early... When I turned to leave I came face to face with a grandfather clock that stood around Bruce's highly. Thing is... the hands are an hour off. I can fix that. I reached up and turned the hands.
"There." I smiled. As it rocks the correct time. "Maybe there's a flashlight I can use in here somewhere." I think aloud. I turned to the desk and rummaged through the drawers. "There you are!" I exclaimed happily, holding a long black metal flashlight. I turned it on and off a few times just to make sure it worked and low and behold it did. I left the room and entered the hall, the hardwood cold against my feet. I clicked on the flashlight and it made my journey much faster. I looked in room after room, most being offices like the first, others split off into more halls with more doors. This place was a fricken maze and it was getting on my hungry nerves. I decided to try one of the other halls. I went through door after door, I lost track. Finally, I found myself at a dead end with no way to get back. Nice going pax, you got yourself lost on your first night. How big is this place anyway? I sighed sliding agents the wall, my stomach growled loudly, begging for food but I forced myself to ignore it.
"This way! I don't think Bruce or his brats are home." I hear a voice as two men in ski masks open the door I came through.
"Uh, boss, one of the brats is right here!" The day short one said pulling a gun and pointing it at me. I let out a small squeak as the tall thin one did the same.
"Hey, Wait a minute! Wayne only has boys, he ain't got no girls!"
"Than What's She do'in here?" the fat one asked. I stood there like a deer in headlights. I wanted to fight back, I could probably take them but the guns they keep waving around prevent me from even moving. I've never been shot before and I don't want to start now.

"tie'er up!" the tall one yelled.

"Can we talk about this?" I asked nervously.

"You shut your trap, and you tie'er up! I ain't got no rope!"

" you were supposed to grab the rope, you moron!" The tall one hit his partner on the head. "Grab the girl!" The fat one reached out and grabbed me by the wrist. His grip was so tight it started to hurt, but I tried my best to ignore it like the tip of the gun he had pressed agents the back of my head. I needed to stay calm and focus. You're gonna die. They have a gun to your head and everyone's in bed. This place is so big I bet no one will even hear the gunfire- SHUT UP! I literally just said I need to stay calm! Come on brain work with me for once! Just breath. All I need to do is breath. I will make it out of here alive if I just stay calm. They dragged me down different halls, stuffing anything that looked old and valuable into their big black bag that the tall one carried on his back. We entered a room and stopped dead in our tracks. There standing in the middle of the freaking kitchen we're Bruce Alfred and the boys eating cookies. I wanted to scream...
"Oh fuck! Everyone put your hands up!" The tall one yelled waving his gun at them. The boys looked from me to the men in shocked, while Bruce looked highly pissed.
