*The British Garrison in Boston*

Alexandra sat in her quaint office. The smaller sized room is a light blue, with white trim. Inside are a few chairs opposite her rosewood desk that is neatly organized. Behind the desk against the wall is a rosewood bookshelf. In front of the large window sits a table, with a strip of white cloth placed horizontally over the center of the table the ends hanging over. On top of the table sits a beautiful porcelain vase, and a locked chest containing one of her pistols. It is now six-fifty, an Alexandra is waiting for the four redcoats from the evening prior to arrive. At seven all four of the soldiers stood before her as she sat at her desk. "Good morning... I've been thinking... You four have caused a large amount of trouble as of late, so I've decided that each of you will be flogged and given extra work for an undecided amount of time" Alexandra said sternly looking at the soldiers. The leader of the four men opened his mouth and stuttered about to protest, but he quickly closed it as Alexandra stood up and leaned on her desk. "I wouldn't do that if I were you..." She said menacingly to the soldier. Alexandra waited a few moments longer angrily eyeing all the men before dismissing them.

*Alexandra's Estate*

Around seven thirty Lillian had woken up Alexander and Washington. An array of food laid out on the beautiful dining room table. Washington stepped into Lafayette's room to wake the Frenchman. Washington walked over to Lafayette's bedside and placed his hand on Lafayette's shoulder before saying "Lafayette mon ami, its time to wake up". Washington's voice was a soft sweet baritone that seemed to resonate in the air. Lafayette stirred, opening his beautiful light blue eyes. Looking up at Washington Lafayette said, "Good morning mon general". His voice was raspy and weak. As he began to sit up Lafayette winced from the injuries he had sustained the evening prior. "Don't strain yourself Lafayette... Stay right there" Washington said supportively before grabbing the fresh clothes off the dresser. Washington walked back to Lafayette's side helping him to sit up on the edge of the bed. Placing the clothes beside Lafayette on the bed Washington said, "I will allow you to get changed and come back to help you to breakfast". Washington stepped out of the room and Lafayette, gripping the bedpost for stability, began to get undressed. Lafayette had managed to put on his pants and stockings but was struggling to get his undershirt on. "Mon General sir, could you give me some assistance?" Lafayette called sitting back on the bed shirtless. Washington opened the door laughing slightly at Lafayette's situation. Washington walked over to the Frenchman and helped him to put on his undershirt. Lafayette managed to put on his vest before pulling on his boots. "Alright... lets get downstairs" Washington said helping Lafayette up off of the bed before wrapping Lafayette's arm over his shoulder and helping him to walk down the stairs to the dining room. Alexander who was already sitting at the table looked to the archway as Washington helped Lafayette into the room. Alexanders face brightened from the knowledge that Lafayette was going to be okay. "Good morning" Alexander said to Washington and Lafayette as they approached the table. Lafayette smiled weakly as he slowly sat down. "Good morning, Alexander" Washington said smiling as he sat down. Lillian walked into the room to begin serving the men. She smiled as she approached the table and asked, "Is there anything in particular that you all would like to drink?". Lafayette smiled and said, "I would really appreciate it if you could bring me some water". Lillian nodded to acknowledge the Marquis. Washington looked over to Lillian and said, "The tea you have brewed will suffice for Alexander and I". Lillian nodded smiling before leaving the room to get Lafayette some water. Lillian had laid out the food on the table for the men to help themselves.

Around eight fifteen Alexandra walked through the front door into the foyer to see Lillian cleaning. "Oh, good morning miss... I thought you wouldn't be back until later" Lillian said slightly surprised. "Yes, but I managed to finish my work early" Alexandra said pulling off her black cloak that was speckled with snowflakes. "Oh, well that's nice" Lillian said before going back to work. Alexandra headed into the dining room and slowed to stand in the archway. Washington, Alexander, and Lafayette had all looked up at her. Lafayette stood up wincing slightly. "Alexandra..." He said looking at her his eyes filled with joy. "My dear Gilbert" Alexandra said hurrying over to Lafayette. He pulled her in close and held her tight. As they separated, Lafayette pulled Alexandra back in and kissed her passionately before pulling her back into another embrace. Looking up Alexander could see the joy on Alexandra's face. "Words cannot convey my love for you" Lafayette said to Alexandra as they finally separated. Looking into Lafayette's beautiful blue eyes, Alexandra said, "Nor can they convey mine for you my love". Washington who had been sitting at the head of the table stood up to offer his seat to Alexandra. Alexandra smiled declining Washington's offer and took the seat next to Lafayette.
