I looked at the racks of clothes that were put in my dressing room and picked out an outfit . It was a bright green/ yellow skirt with a white lace bralette and a rough light blue cropped denim vest. I changed into my clothes and sat down in the small pink sofa in the room. I scrolled through instagram and liked a few of my friends pictures right when someone knocked on the door.
" yes?" I said before a lady in her 40's came in with a cart full of makeup and hair products.
" My name is Lisa and I'll be doing your hair and makeup for your photo shoot today" she said
"ok " I said " my names Kaelyn"
"yeah I think everyone that works here at seventeen magazine knows who you are" she said
" Oh I don't know about that" I said sitting down in the chair in front of a mirror
there was another knock on the door, this time it was a girl in her mid-twenty's
"hi my name is Jessica, I'm a journalist here at seventeen, do you mind if I ask you a few questions?" she asked
"I dont mind at all" I said as Lisa started parting my golden blonde hair to start curling it
" so seventeen magazine is covering your sixteenth birthday party next week who are you expecting to be there?"
" there is going to alot of people there, family, a bunch of kids from my school, friends, some people from my dance studio, some people I've met in the music business, so yeah a lot of people"
" how is school going for you?"
" school is going great, I'm staying in pubic school so i can stay with my friends, home school would be so boring, I would go insane not talking to my friends everyday, its also important I stay true to who I was before all of this happened to me"
" all right now we are going to do some fan asked questions" she said " Amy wants to know who was the last person you texted and what was it?"
"I picked up my phone and saw found my recent texts " the last person i texted was my boyfriend- ex boyfriend Kian and I said I need to live my life and if you cant deal with it thats your problem"
" ooh juicy why did you two break up?"
" well I'm not supposed to be talking about this but I guess its fine, I have recently been contacted by the manager of magcon tour and I may or may not be going on tour this summer and Kian didn't want me to go because he thought I would cheat on him or something but he doesn't have to worry about that anymore because we aren't dating"
" Magcon tour? how did that happen?"
" I used to make vines and I make youtube videos alot, I'm trying to get back into vines there alot of fun"
" well thank you for your time Kaelyn" Jessica said then walked out the door
By the time I was done with the interview Lisa was done with my hair and makeup I walked out to the set and spent about 20 minutes taking pictures and after that I grabbed my things and walked out the door and waited for my friend Emily to pick me up. She pulled up in a white Toyota truck.
"hey" I said as I climbed in the front seat "thanks for picking me up"
" no problem" she said " do you want to go jamba juice?"
"sure " I said
" so are you exited for your birthday?" Emily asked
" yeah" I said "its in two weeks though"
" what about the last day of school?" she asked " are you wearing anything special"
" um I'm thinking about wearing a cute sundress type thing, oh and I'm handing out birthday invitations to my party"
