Lucy's POV

During the making of our contract, Igneel suggested I find the other keys. He said that all the dragon slayer's dragons had become key when they disappeared. That someone had locked them in for the past few years. I guess that's why Natsu could never find Igneel.

As I was sipping my strawberry milkshake as I saw Levy and Wendy running towards me holding a flyer in their hand.

"Lu!" Shouted Levy, "I found one."

I grabbed the job request from Wendy's hand. Stop a pair of bandits, last seen at the edge of Crocus. Best of all it had a reward of two onyx keys, score!

"Mira we are taking this one!" we shouted as we ran out the door.

As the train takes off, I notice Wendy clutching her stomach. Catching my puzzled look ,she explains that while the guild was disbanded she developed a case of motion sickness. I rubbed her back, hoping to calm her nerves. It remined me of how I always used to comfort Natsu like this.

"You know we could just knock you out and be as scary as Erza," Levy joked.

"Scary as who?" A voice announced from behind us. We all jumped as a certain red haired reequip mage walked in.

"H-hey E-Erza we didn't see you there, how's it going?" Levy stuttered, afraid that Erza had overhead our earlier conversation.

"I was here to apologies to Lucy about Natsu's behaviour, and to visit a cake shop, it's said to be the best in Fiore," she explained.

We sat through the rest of the trip in an awkward silence. When the train finally stopped Wendy rushed off with a worried Levy following. Before I could join the others, Erza pulled me over to say something.

"Lucy I'm really sorry, Nastu never told us his plan or else we would of never-" Erza began.

"It's ok I know you wouldn't, plus maybe he was right I am weak." I interrupted.

"What, no Lucy none of us think that-" Erza began.

I cut her offs, saying that it was all good. I didn't need her to go on about how I was actually strong and all that stuff. I told her to stay safe and enjoy her cake. As I left, she still wore a guilty face, wanting to say more to me.

"Well, I guess I'll see you back at the guild , Lucy," Erza called after me. The look quickly vanished as returned to her thought about the new cake shop.

I waved as she left, signing when she disappeared into the crowd. Finally, I don't really want to think about Natsu right now. Now done with that, I trudged off to find Levy and Wendy. When I found them, they had already gotten more information about the bandits that were terrorizing the city. After planning the best way to take them down, we decided to stop and gather supplies and find lodging before we did anything else. That and we had to meet the client.

We wrapped up business in town pretty quickly. Our client, an elderly couple that lived on outskirts of town, explained that several shadowy figures had been reported stealing things, they also left a particular rancid smell in their wake. So far no one had gotten hurt, but many valuable items had been taken from the residents in this area. Currently, we were camped in a forest that they suspected the bandits were using as a hideout. Everyone had said they were always spotted running back here.
