I quietly hummed along to the radio as
my limo pulled up to Franklin
Regional School for Girls. I stepped
out of the car into the chilly Manhattan
Air and started towards the school.
Our school is separated into 2 halls,
the boys hall and the girls hall. I
don't know why they feel the need to
separate us, maybe their afraid there
will be some "flirting in class". At least
that's what one do my good friends
told me after she was eavesdropping
into the teachers lounge. I wonder if
they ever talk about us. Or at least, me.
My phone chimed as I received an alert.
I could hear the rest of the schools buzzing
as well as they all pulled out their phones.
I pulled mine out and glanced at the notification.
I pulled my hand over my mouth, unable to speak.
Chloe was back in town.
