Chapter 7: Past Vs. Present

Since I told Chinx to get her stuff and kick rocks, my life has been boring but stress free. That person I called the night I told Chinx to leave was my ex Saige. Her and Chinx use to be real cool back in college but that quickly changed after Saige and I got together. Anyways, Saige is coming over for us to catch up. I really missed her and it's always good to have someone to lean on when you feel like you have no one. Right now I'm putting on my silky black dress with a high slit and my diamond heart earrings along with my necklace. My phone starts to ring and as I look over it happens to be "DNB" which is Chinx new name in my phone. As I pick up the phone I get a text
from Saige saying "on my way beautiful."
Me: Hello?
Chinx: Look, I know you're still mad at me but I need you to let me explain myself."
Me: You don't need to explain shit, you already said what you said and did what you were planning to do."
Chinx: (pauses for a second) "So that's it? You're just done that quick?"
Me: (Sighs hard) "Why is it that you nigga's feel like when you do something wrong, you should be granted a second chance? Shouldn't have did what you did and we wouldn't be having this conversation."
Chinx: "That's it, I'm on my way to your house right now!"
Me: (chuckles) "Good luck with getting in, the locks are changed."
I hung up in her face and as I was walking downstairs the door bell rang. As I open the door there is Saige with her perfect white teeth, a nice slick puff ball with her side burns looking crisp, she has on my favorite Calvin Klein cologne and her shirt is a light blue polo button up with khaki cargo shorts and white and blue sperry's to match her shirt. "You gonna let me in? Or just keep staring at me? Either is fine." She chuckles and I lick my lips slowly and step back slowly, "Come on in, I'm sorry." She smiles big and hands me a box with my favorite bottle of wine. "Open it once I leave, Okay?" I pause for a second, my face is starting to change. "Wait until you leave? Okay." I giggle and I walk closer to her and wrap my arms around her neck, "Glad you decided to come over, it's been a minute." She wraps her arms around my waist and grips my waist tight, "Yes it has, you know I couldn't stay away from you for long baby." I giggle and look into her eyes, "Boy shut up, you sound so silly." She sighs and keeps looking into my eyes, "Now you think I'm being silly? Why? I missed you, I need you." I look away and lay my head on her chest, "Well, I missed you too but I'm not trying to act on my feelings today. Let this just be a reminisce session and a catch up session." I lead her over to the couch and slowly sit down next to her. She bites her lip and smirks, "That ass still move like a tidal wave I see sexy. But alright mamas, I agree to this being a catch up and reminisce session." As Saige and I exchange words concerning our careers and what we have been doing these past few years, there's a knock on the door. "I'll get it beautiful." Before I could say no that's fine, she opens the door. Chinx pushes her out the way and steps in the door. I stand up and run over to Chinx, "Don't you fucking touch her!" Saige pushes me out the way and next thing you know they're both fighting. "WHAT THE FUCK?! BOTH OF Y'ALL NEED TO STOP!" I pull Saige up by her shirt and pushes her to the other side of the room, Chinx wipes her face "You a pussy ass nigga Saige and know
It's war now!!" Saige try's to charge past me but I pin her against the wall, "You know what,
I'm going to respect my lady house but alright I got something for that ass." Chinx storms out the door and slams the door behind her." After tonight I just need a drink, whatever they need to hash out will not be in my house. These two really have showed they ass tonight.
