Inspired by the imagination of Sara-Anne Dukes

The lonely dancer
Dances with
Her one true love
In her mind
She twirls and spins
And she is dipped
By someone
Imaginary
She needs his embrace
Yet the only way to have it
Is the graceful spins
Twirls
Dips
Of her imaginary ball
Blinding lights
Glare down at them
Her pink dress
And his imaginary form
And so dances on
The lonely dancer
