*Calum's POV*

I was afraid to lose Kat. She is everything to me.I held her close every night ,respecting everything she was.

I always played with her long hair.I remember when we were younger ....she had way shorter hair because of her parents.I thought it cute but she hated it.

I always pretended to be asleep next to her,but when she was asleep ,I stared at her.I stared at her natural beauty.

Everyday we did something fun with the boys.And Kat never went back to school.

We went on a road trip to New Mexico.It was amazingly fun.All the food that we ate.... we all gained a few pound within seconds.

I was happy,I was doing so many great things with my best mates and the love of my life.

We finally came back to Kat's place.We all seemed super tired so we all decided to sleep even though it was 6 pm .

Me and Kat snuggled together in her bedroom like always.

Kat looked paler than usual.She was breathing fast all of a sudden.I lifted her chin up so her eyes could stare back at me .

"Babe?!... Are you ...." I couldn't speak.

She started screaming.

"My....gah...my side fucking hurts... my chest feels tight..." She whined.

I lifted her off the bed.

Ashton came running ,along with Luke and Michael.

"Is it happening ?" Michael said.

"It's happening." I replied quietly.

We were all in the waiting room.Kat is 17 ....Ashton participated on being her guardian but the nurses said no.

After and hour of waiting,the doctor finally came in.

"She has appendicitis. And also has congenital heart defect.She needs surgery for both.Any of you boys mind checking in to see if you can donate blood for her?" He asked.

We all stood up and left with the doctor.

The only person with the same blood type as Kat was Luke and Ash.They both had to close their eyes tight because of the needle .After that they was a bit dizzy.I mean a 1 pint of blood from each of them is a lot of blood.

After all that was done ,I asked if I was allowed to come in her room.The nurse smiled and let me in .

Kat looked tired.She was wearing a hospital gown and had a lot of machines and also weird wires on her.

"Hey Baby..." I whispered as she fluttered her eyes open.

"Calum..!" She tried to say. I put one finger on her lips.

"It's okay.Its not super bad.You don't have cancer or anything." I tried to calm her down.I mean I was worried but I"ll be there every step of the way in her recovery .

She sat up as I came closer to her.I grabbed her hand and kissed it.

"It's okay babe." I told her.

She put both of her hands on my mine.

Her eyes looked like a darker color than usual.

"Stay with me ?....Calum? Please..." She sobbed. I smiled at her.She has a bad fear with knives and sharp objects.

"It's okay.Your going to be asleep the whole time."I told her.

All she did was pout at me.Well...I was afraid about the heart surgery.The same exact thing happened when she was 9. But they did nothing but say it wasn't really a big deal.

I was in here for an hour,then I had leave.

"I have to leave your room Kat." I said ,I went up to her and kissed her forehead.

She grabbed my face,and collided her lips with mine.

"I love you." She said.

"I love you." I said back and hugged her tightly .I smiled at her again and shut the door behind me.
