"What do you miss the most?" Brooklyn sat down next to me on my bed, her hand resting gently on mine to let me know that she was beside me.

"Probably being able to drive," I said, shrugging. I heard her giggle and I couldn't help but laugh too.

"Seriously? Is that all?" She seemed unsatisfied with my answer to her question.

"Well yeah, I mean, girls find guys who drive attractive, right? And it's a shame that my very feminine fiat is going to waste." I used my free hand to run it through my hair, chuckling a bit.

"You don't seem too upset about this whole losing your sight thing, I don't get how a person as unfortunate as you could be so happy?" She spoke with a confused tone, and I felt her hand move away from mine and she stiffened up a bit to say this.

"Well I'm not exactly going to sit here and feel sorry for myself, it was my fault anyway, and the doctors said that they are trying to think of a cure to get at least one of my eyes to see because the damage to my cornea wasn't as severe," She loosened up after I said that, and I felt her arms wrap around me. Her warm breath hit against my cheek and I couldn't help but smile as my arms snaked around her back.

"You're one of the strongest people that I've ever met," She whispered this and before breaking away from me, I felt her lips gently press against my cheek. I couldn't see her facial expression or the little twinkle in her eyes and I couldn't tell if she meant it or not, because I couldn't see her facial expression but I felt something for sure.

"You've got a terrible case of bad stubble and it's tickling my face, do you want me to do something about it?" She laughed when she said this moving back to the same position she was in before, letting her hand fall onto mine.

"Sure, I mean, we don't want you getting hurt or scratched anywhere next time," I smirked, tightening my grip around her fingers.

"Who said there will be a next time?" She spoke with such confidence I couldn't help but feel so attracted to her. Quickly, she stood up and grabbed me by the elbow, pulling me towards, what was probably the bathroom.

"Alright, let's get this sorted then," She said, poking my chin and laughing cutely.
