I was lying on my bed listening to music when I got a text from my friend Louis.
" Hey" it read.
" Hey" I responded.
" Whatcha doing?" he asked.
" Listening to music. what about you?" I asked. Louis is one of my good friends. we dated for a while. I don't even remember why we broke up . That's how long its been. He texts me a lot.
" Oh you know just fixing a car. the tires are flat" he said. He loves to work on cars and fix things. He has helped fix a lot of things for me. For free.
" cool " I said.
" r u OK?" he asked. Truth was that I wasn't . I was wondering what Tyler was doing or who he was doing. Well I know it would be Rebecca not like I care well I guess I do. I don't know why I care for someone who doesn't feel the same way.
" yeah I'm just distracted" I said.
" yeah I noticed. wanna talk about?"
" its just Tyler shit"
" did he say something? " he asked.
" No its just well stuff. I don't wanna talk about" I said.
" OK well if u need 2 talk I'm here for u"
" I know thanks" I said. It was true he was always there for me.
" Anytime dear " he said with a happy face. It was cute. It really was. I put my phone down and went back to my music. I just wanted to drown the world out. Why did I love Tyler? why cant I find my own boyfriend? I guess I'm just not good enough. Its just sad really. I know Louis still likes me and I kinda like him back. Wait. That gives me an idea. I'll go out with Louis to make Tyler jealous. It could work. Or he might not even notice. It could go either way. Most likely not the way I want it to go. For some reason I've always had bad luck. I guess I was born cursed or something. Knowing my luck I most likely was. What's wrong with me!!! Now I'm just talking to myself. Great. Just great.
