"Isabella please don't do this, i don't know how to fix what just happened and I'm pretty sure everyone was out of control of what they said." Florence said mournfully.

"It doesn't matter Florence, i couldn't care less about what just happened. Except the fact that Jake just admitted and confirmed  that he likes you. While i was admiring how cute he was. I'm only sad because of how lifeless i am, seriously." she scoffed looking down at the ground, but her heart actually broken. 

"Izzy, look at me", Florence said putting her hand on isabella's shoulder.

"If he doesn't like you back then it's his loss, I'm pretty sure that he will regret it later on and trust me even if he likes me, i don't like him that way at all. Okay?", Florence explained.

"Whatever. Thank you for always being here when i need you. You always know how to make me feel better. Even after what happened to you, you were still a shoulder to cry on. What would i do without you!" Isabella said with a simple smile approaching her mouth.

"That's sweet i love you but so cheesy to be honest", Florence laughed snorting.

"Oh shut up" Isabella said smiling while hitting Florence on her arm.

Florence saw Isabella in the bathroom sitting on the ground sorrowing when she found her. So they exited the bathroom straight to their next class.

"Florence, hey!" jake called approaching her.

"Hey Jake, i know what you're gonna say but i don't think it's good time to talk about it just yet, let's just forget about it please" florence said, as she played with her fingers.

Isabella was avoiding jake as much as she could but her feelings for him were still as alive, she didn't know what it really was. As soon as he came up to florence she rotated 360 and stood behind them scrolling through her phone so she could still hear everything.

"Yea i  know and i'm really sorry about what happened, i didn't mean to cause such a big problem but lets not think about it you're right. Anyways, are we still up for the hangout though, you know the one we agreed on, yesterday?" jake said nervously.

"Um, i-i guess if i'm not busy; you know these days. I've just been so overwhelmed of the things happening around me and-" she said hesitating since she doesn't want to cause any problems between her and isabella.

"So thats a no?" jake looked heartbroken.

"No, its not a no. Its just a maybe" she said trying to be 'friendly' since she also doesn't want to lose her friendship with jake.

"Okay then, i'll call you sometime so we can agree on it. Okay?" he replied, waving goodbye.

Isabella was dumbstruck. She felt betrayed by her own best friend and never thought that florence of all people would do that and stab her in the back. Her heart sank at the moment she heard what they said and was in aghast. She didn't know what to do, so she decided to take off and pretend as if she didn't hear anything.

"Isabella, are you okay?" florence asked worriedly as she grabbed Isabella's arm and saw her start to tear up.

"Yea, yea I'm fine. Why whats wrong?" she said wiping her tears off and acting like she didn't just hear that they were going to 'hangout'.

"I'm fine but I'm sure that you're not. Tell me what's wrong. Did Jake coming up to me bother you? If it did then it wasn't something important don't worry", Florence started brainstorming why isabella would be sad.
