A girl stepped into a room with a face similar to a blank canvas, all emotions rid off her face and plummeted down the drain. Although she seemed aloof and rude; when she had made eye contact with the three girls in front of her she immediately bowed down ninety degrees.
"Girls, this is Lisa she will joining you three in the Alpha team." Just as Lisa expected, all eyes immediately fell on her and criticized gazes fell upon her as the entire room of knights kept silent trying their best to hide their bewildered expressions. How was she qualified to join the Alpha team?
Lisa stared at them emotionless, no sign of worry nor arrogance written on her face. It was almost sickening to watch, how is she not afraid? The Kim siblings were right in front of her! Soldiers one by one judged her aloofness as arrogance.
"Why don't you girls show Lisa around the grounds and make sure to make it to dinner, its an important one" The middle aged knight warmly spoke to the three girls although his tone held a hint of warning reminding them that the Royals would be present, "I'll be back in an hour or two to take you for the evening meal. It was nice meeting you Miss Lisa."
All the knights who were present bowed their head in respect as the man walked out of the room. "Okay!" Rosé cheered as she grabbed Lisa's arm, dragging her towards the exit following behind the older male, "the castle is quite big so we won't be able to show you around everywhere," Chaeyoung sighed, Lisa who hasn't uttered a word since they've meant only nodded her head.
Jennie who was the most skeptical about the current situation stayed behind the group whilst causally swaying around her sword every now and then. "Do you know about the oath?" Rosé randomly asked, she was the most eager to meet the newest member so it was no surprise to the other two that she kept on insisting conversation and thank goodness because she will no longer be the youngest, she's going to be an older sister.
"I've been briefed about it by John, but no further details were given" Lisa replied back curtly remembering how the middle age man was kind enough to inform her of all the palace rules. "All I was told that I was bound to take it."
"The Kim family, well us three and past protectors now including you, have always been the protectors of the Royal Family; the Park Family," Jisoo started off but was abruptly cut off by Rosé who had her whole body leaning forward as her eyes wide in excitement, "I guess Rosé will take over from here." Jisoo softly chuckled gesturing for the girl to continue.
"Well! You've probably heard about the Phoenix? Well of course you probably have I mean who hasn't? I mean I'm not trying to say that you should't know but you should? Well of course not! But-"
