"Don't feel so pathetic, remember the girls aren't the powerful ones. Its their swords that holds the power." John who took it upon himself to train the young girl encouraged her.
"I know" Lisa growled, trying to swing a hit towards him but to her dismay she had missed him for the hundredth time.
"What's putting you off Lisa? This isn't like you. Are you okay?" Concern laced his voice as he told her to stop and rest.
It was still 6:30 in the morning, Lisa had woken up few hours earlier before anyone else to train herself, she was lucky that John was up and offered to help.
Being the leader of the Beta team, Lisa took the offer knowing he himself had strength and knowledge to help her maintain her place in the Alpha and to learn more about them.
Lisa clutched her left eye feeling a headache forming, maybe it was a bad idea to wake up at 3 in the morning, she still had to attend the ceremony later on.
"Rest up, you'll have to save up your energy to keep up with the others girls later on for your training." His fatherly gaze followed Lisa across the room as she packed her things.
Lisa took his advice and thanked him, "I'll see you at the ceremony?" Lisa questions slinging her bag across her chest.
John hummed and nodded his head, Lisa smiled back at him and waved him goodbye.
