Dear Self,
How are you? Oh sorry.
That's an irrelevant and useless question to ask. I obviously know how are you.
Broken, tired, hopeless.
Yes, I know what you are thinking and do you know a little secret we share? I understand. I know no body gets what you have been through and what you are going through, they judge you for the things they see, they don't know that you are a silent sea, and this silence is the kind of silence which takes over the sea before storm.
This storm is rising within you, and you are wilting.
This house is pressing you between its walls and your bones are breaking.
Do you know when we cut ourselves by mistake, the bleeding occurs. Its because the part of body is cut open, and it allows the fluid to flow. You apply bandage for some days, and then you take off the bandage, that's where your scar is exposed to light.
You getting me? Rumi says 'The wound is the place where light enters you.' You know what happen when people open up their hearts and allow bleeding to occur?
They get better.
You know when they say 'Time heals wounds.' I don't agree to that. Time doesn't heal anything, it just covers it up with a scar, proving that healing has occurred.
Congratulations, you have passed the test.
Plus, healing yourself is connected with healing others. That is exactly what I am doing and that is exactly what you will do once you are done with the suffering and healing. Till then,
As Colleen Hoover says, 'My dear fishes, just keep swimming.' And you my bird, just keep flying while your feet are on the ground. Chase for the stars, and become the brightest of all.
Love,
Self.
