1- Breaking Point

Third Person Point Of View-

"Quirkless!" "Unneeded!" "Waste of space!" "Why are you still trying to be a hero? You won't get anywhere in life! You're a quirkless Deku!" His head filled with their insults and screams, the most devastating ones being from his—former—best friend Kacchan. Katsuki had given him the name 'Deku' when he found out that Izuku was quirkless, 'Deku' meant useless to him and Kacchan.

He sat huddled in a corner of his room, sobbing uncontrollably as his head continued to torment him and throw the same insults he'd heard for so many years at him. He could always somehow escape the bullies; but how do you escape your own mind?

Inko; his mother, slowly swiveled the doorknob, walking in on her son being torn apart from the inside out again. She just wanted her son to be happy, she wanted to see his brilliant smile again. She hadn't seen her happy Izuku in years as he was lost in a sea of anxiety and depression.

She walked to her son and crouched down, embracing him in a hug she began to pat his head and softly spoke words of comfort to him. After he had become calm enough she led him onto the sofa in the living room, she started the tv and they began watching the news together.

In a sudden flash the news reporters fell to the ground and a man draped in red cloth and white bandages appeared on the screen, in his raspy voice he spoke words that would affect Izuku forever; "I am Stain, and I will enact revenge on all the frauds who call themselves heros!" That's when it struck Izuku, he didn't have to sit back and be tormented just because he was quirkless!

He was intelligent and knew many pro hero's weaknesses! He was going to use it to his advantage! He stood up in front of his mother, a beaming smile upon his face he proudly spoke the words that could stir up his mother's heart like none other. "I'm going to become like him! I'm going to take revenge on everyone who bullied me."

This was the first time she'd seen her son happy since he found out he was quirkless, she would support him. It was what he desired.
