Ty's dad comes to heartland

Amy: ugghh this heat wave sucks.

Lou: Yeah the AC went out practically everywhere

Mallory: I'm gonna go outside and see if there is a nice breeze

Ty:*sneaks behind Mallory* BOO!

Mallory: Aahhh, don't do that

Ty: okay sorry

Then Ty sees a truck in the distance

Ty: Hey Amy were you expecting anyone?

Amy: No not till Friday

Ty: well someone's here

They walk to the truck and Ty's surprised who the driver is

Ty: Dad, what the hell are you doing here?

Amy: wait this is your dad?

Ty: Yeah

Brad: I need your help Ty

Ty: Yeah well I'm not interested in helping you

Brad: wait please I've got some sick horses here that need help

Amy: wait theres horses in a slaughter trailer? There's not enough room in there they will die!

Ty: Are you taking these horses to a slaughterhouse?

Brad: Yes but then I was going to release them up at eagle lake but when I checked on them they didn't look so good.

Amy:*whispers to Ty* now I know why you don't like him

Ty*whispers* Yeah

Brad: please help

Ty calls Scott then hangs up

Ty: alright just got off the phone with Scott he said he's coming in the morning

Jack: Amy Ty these horses aren't doing so well

Amy*sees a horse laying down she kneels and touches it and has blood on her hand* Oh my god

Jack: well that horse won't last til morning we gotta end it's suffering

Amy: grandpa no

Ty*grabs Amy and hugs her* shhhh he's got a point I know this is hard for you to hear but that horse is gonna die either way Scott agreed to end its pain

Jack*shoots the horse with his rifle* I know how hard it is to see a horse go

Ty:*kisses Amys head* you should get some sleep

Amy: alright see you in the morning. Oh and what are we gonna do about your dad

Jack: You want me to kick him out of here or what?

Ty: no let him stay until Scott gets here

Jack: alright and you can sleep on the couch if you want since you aren't comfortable with your dad being here

Ty: thanks but I'll be fine Jack

Amy: goodnight

Later that night

Brad: hey Ty is it alright if I slept up here?

Ty: what you afraid or something

Brad: come on Ty, listen-

Ty: No you listen Dad, you left me to die and because of it I lost my truck, money, and almost the love of my life because I wasn't here in time for her birthday because you had to piss off those thugs!!
