Rogue Pov

"What do you mean you don't know," He growled a golden ring circling his pupil.
"I mean I don't know," I spat back getting frustrated with this whole process.
"Don't be stupid everyone has a name. Now I'm going to ask you one more time. What. Is. Your. Name." He growled his whole eye overtaken by a bright glowing gold.
"I. Don't. Know."

A low roar or annoyance caused the ground to shake slightly and Eli to let out a small whimper.
"Grab them both. We are taking them to the cells and the Alpha can deal with them later," The beta snarled his breaths now short and heavy.
Before I could react Eli was yanked away from me by the shorter male and the taller wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me even further away from my pup.

All I could hear was Elis cries and screams as he fought against the man holding him captive. Then all I saw was red. Something rose within me not even the word anger brushed the surface of the feeling that gripped my body. A pure and utter hatred for these people drove me to subconsciously shift slipping through the grip of the warrior.

A rush of my deep black fur that flashed across my eyes caused me to realize I was no longer in control but instead my wolf had taken over. I was launched to the back of my mind as the animalistic instincts set in causing me o panic slightly. I had always trusted my wolf but in this situation, I didn't trust her not to make a stupid decision and get us killed.

Yet all I could do was look through her eyes and watch it all unfold. The shorter male clung to Eli as he began running away from me. Tears cascaded down my pups paled cheeks his eyes wide with desperation and fear as he clawed at the mans back screaming like his life depended on it. Two wolves landed on our back and before I knew it the earth and roots and sticks were cutting my skin grazing my body under the thick locks of fur.

All I felt was frustration as I pushed myself up only to be slammed back down. It got to the point where I was in control yet I wasn't even fighting them anymore. I cried and yelled and thrashed like a dying animal my claws digging up the earth as I desperately tried to escape. Eli was now out of sight and I couldn't breathe.

Everything settled in. The pain and the struggle and his cried all built up within me to create one last grave attempt. But it didn't work. I was still laid on the unfamiliar soil as their teeth dug into my skin forcing me into submission or die. Red and brown and black flashed across my vision before I gave up.

One last cry out ripped through my throat like sandpaper on wood causing a dry heated pain that travelled along with the grieving howl. It echoed through the woods and the sound alone caused the huge wolves on top of me to falter slightly and stop. The heavyweight lifted off me but I couldn't move. My body shook with violent growls as I laid still. Silence settled over us as they stood now shifted into human form gun aimed at my head.

"You have one chance" He panted pushing the hair from his face "To shift before I end your pathetic life right here right now," He placed the bullets in the gun turning off the safety before moving it up to aim it "Now shift." His face was cold and stone like his eyes unreadable but there was a hint of regret in them.
The taller male looked away when I didn't shift embracing himself for the yell of the gun and the thump of my body.

"Your pup will be looked after,"

Those words alone caused my body to shift just at the thought of him being alone in a place where no one understood him. Leaving him alone with no mother as an omega was a death wish for my own pup. I lifted my head looking the beta dead in the eye and for the first time ever I backed down and bowed my head in submission. A large shirt was thrown at me landing at my bowed figure and I hastily threw it on.

The beta nodded to the last male and he grabbed an arm lifting me from the rough ground before bringing them behind my back. No one said anything almos like a shared disinterest in starting a conversation or the fact no one knew what to say. The only person i managed to speak to over the years is my pup and him isn't one for a deep conversation...

Through the brush, i saw a large grey stone wall towering over us shadowing everything underneath it protecting its people with, by the looks of it, a great success. Its main use for intimidation mainly and it was working as I felt myself cower back slightly along with the huge wave of scents and people. People were going to judge me as the men paraded me through the area and i was not dealing with that. Not now.

I lunge forward causing the man holding me to falter a second and trip over his own feet. Then came the screams of the beta as I launched myself upwards my body impacting the wall clinging to it as I began climbing. My plan? To run along it and hide on one of the many rooves of buildings to see where they were keeping Eli.

Before long I was hauling myself onto the top cursing at how much thinner it was than what I once thought. Two feet fit easily next to each other but if one slipped too much, either way, I would definitely fall. The beta began hollowing orders calling for the alpha as panic rose instantly people gasping in both shock and horror.

That's when I began running along it but the overwhelming smell of mint and pine caused my mind to freeze my wolf to howl and my feet to slip. Next thing I know I was slipping off the edge my hands barely catching the ledge. My feet kicked as I attempted to find my footing but the shock caused my body to violently shake for lack of strength.

My fingers were scraping against the cold stone bleeding slightly but there was nothing I could do and...

I fell.
