Phoenix walked down the halls ocasionally getting winks and googly eyes from girls. In which he returned with his flashing smile as he got mad stares from the boyfriends. Phoenix walked over to Chesters locker in which it was closer to the cafeteria. his whole posse was there as he aproached them. Immediatly the guys surronded him practicly tackling him to the floor. "Ay phoenix, daddy-o here tells us you got down with bird brain over here" Brad says nodding at Alex "yeah, boys you outa show these monkeys whose the trainer" Phoenix said a proud smile splatered on his face. "You got that right, you showed that dimwith what he outa had comin" Rob added.

"Yeah yeah boys simmer down how bout we go to the skating rink" Brad said grinning.

"Good idea man" replied Phoenix. "Haha... It's been awhile since we went to Franky' skating rink!" Said Joe, " he sure will be surprised to see us making a mess again" Rob, Phoenix, and Brad agreed. They looked over to their leader, arms crossed and leaning against the lockers. His face gave off a stern and mean looking face. Phoenix instantly knew his closest pal was not okay. " hey Chester? What's up with you?"Phoenix asked. It wasn't normal for their leader to be this serious looking. Not only was his dad and step mom trying to get Alex and himself closer by going out to dinner together , but his girlfriend broke up with him. " Ehhh it's nothing. That whore, Stella Silken's, broke up with me once she saw me with some other girls" Chester lit up a cigarette and took a puff. It was normal for him to be around girls. Like Alex, he was just as much of a ladies man. Chester thought to himself, "It seems that monkey won't leave my mind. He's just scum. Like I'd ever have a true family. This fight with my buddy Phoenix proves that."Chester looked over to his gang, " heh, maybe we could have some fun with the monkeys. Hey brad !" What is it daddy-o?" Brad replied back. " don't we usually see the monkeys at the skating rink?" Asked Chester with a devious smile.

"Yeah what of it" brad asked. "what do you say if we mess up their car a little bit, get them back for their leader messing with us?" Chester said mischievously. Everyone agreed to the idea. " haha that'll show them who they're messing with! " Phoenix yelled out. The bell rang, calling it the end of the day. They all walked in a group out the schools door. Chester called out to his friends" Hey, see you Saturday night guys!". He kept walking straight towards his car while waving back to his gang. Phoenix ran over, putting his arm over his friends shoulder."haha, can't wait until we get those guys good! It's been too long since we've had a good prank like this" Chester smiled to his friend. He took out his cigarette and said, " yea well it's about time we show them whose rules these areas. Lakewood town his out turf!" Chester threw his fist into the air.

They walked over to his old pickup truck and drove home. Phoenix got dropped off in front of his home. His mother was in the front lawn, watering the grass, while his little sister was there playing with her dolls. His mothers been working hard ever since his father passed away with cancer when he was 4. You could say he had a serious mother complex. He would kill a man to protect his mother and even for his little sister. Chester drove off towards his home. He took his keys out of the ignition, stuck them in his back pocket, and opened his door wide. All of a sudden a purple ooze of muck hit him straight into his face.

He fell back in his car seat, completely taken aback."what the hell?" He yelled out. Wiping his eyes with his jacket sleeve, he saw two guys behind a bush. It was dark out so he couldn't see their faces, but he had a pretty good clue who they where." Monkeys, you'll pay for this!" He ran out his door with a crowbar he grabbed from the backseat. Turns out it was Jamie and Nick who was walking by and decided to mess around the block. Nick whispered to Jamie" hey isn't he Chester from the soldiers gang?" Jamie laughed"guess so man."

Chester ran over to them which made Nick and Jamie run away laughing at him. Chester angrily threw the crow bar and walked into the house. "Stupid no good Monkeys" Chester spat as he walked in the house. Alex layed his whole body on the couch, tv playing in the background, and cigar in his hand. When Chester walked in he looked at him and cracked up " Nice to see you here "brother". What have you been up to?" Alex said with a smirk. "You tell your monkeys to get the hell away from me and my soldiers or the next time i see them i will personally knife them" Chester spat and angrily walked up to his room. Alex shook it off a smug grin in his face as he flicked through the various channels.

Outside a car drove up in their park way. It seems to be that Chester's dad and Alex's mom returned home from their vacation. Alex stood up from couch and walked towards the window."Huh, they're back from vacation already?" Alex opened the door wide open watching his mother and mr. Bennington walk towards the house with their luggage. Mrs. turner smiled at her young boy, " Well now, if it isn't my young man. It surprises me how much you grow each day." Mrs. Turner stopped her feet and paused. Chester's father was still gathering the last of their things from the trunk. She looked her son right in the eye. Alex cooly leaned against the door frame, waiting to for his mother's questioning. Alex loved his mother dearly, but he can't help not getting along with Chester. She knows the kind of people he hangs out with. His reputation is known throughout town! "Now boy, what exactly have you've been up to?"

Alex and Chester's home is located in the most desolate of locations. Not many people are seen hanging around their neighborhood since there's no real reason why anyone would want to visit their boring old neighborhood. Both step brothers make up the excuse that their parents are sickly and they don't want their gangs hanging around their homes. It's partially true. Both their parents ended up bed ridden for quite some time in the hospital. Alex's mother is weak hearted, but it doesn't change the fact she has always been strong willed woman and mother. Mr. Bennington on the other hand broke his arm from construction work.

Voila! This resulted in their meeting together. It may be in the most unromantic atmosphere, but somehow they ended up sharing a room together when the local hospital became too crowded! Mrs. Turner looked her boy from all over. " It seems your not hurt at all. None of your silly gang fights? I'm surprised, son" His mother slowly walked into her home, observing it for every angle. Alex smirked at his mother.

" ohh momma! Can't trust me yet, huh? How was your guys trip?" Alex backed away for the door frame and plopped himself back on the couch. Mrs. Turner looked at her son, quite relieved nothing had happened." It was quite a trip! Fredrick had such a nice family. Everyone seemed delighted he found someone to be with!" Mrs. Turner chuckled " felt like we were in our twenties again. Everyone acted as if Fredrick brought his first girlfriend home!" Mr. Bennington walked into the home with his all their luggage. He set them down against the wall.

"Hey I'll have you know, I started bringing girls home when I was only 13! " he pointed his finger jokingly at Mrs. Turner." Oh right dear, you were quiet a ladies man, I remember you saying that at some point." She rolled her eyes over to her son. Alex smiled back and started walking backwards. " don't mind me, I'm heading to my room to get some rest" He gave his mother a quick kiss on her cheek and a waving salute back to Mr. Bennington. "Good night you guys. If your wondering 'bout Chester, he's probably sleeping in his room" Mrs. Turner looked to her son with a curios expression,"Sleep well son. I'll see you in the morning" "Good night Alex" Mr. Bennington replied back. "Seems like those two boys were fine on their own again" Mrs. Turner walked into the kitchen, going to make two cups of tea. She sighed. "I swear Fredrick. I don't understand the teenagers of this generation." "It's how it is. I raised Chester to be independent. Their both becoming men and I'm not one to mess with Chester's personal affairs. They'll settle things on their own," Mrs. Turner squinted her eyes at her husband," humph, seems like your right honey"
