Chapter 7

Greens POV

I was at goobers house laying on the couch with my feet on his lap and him playing fortnite with his friends and i was on my phone. My phone started going on and it was a facetime call from purple. 

"hey girl"

"hey, what you doing?"

"im at goobers place"

"oh, what you guys doing?"

"im laying on the couch while he plays fortnite with his friends"

"boring! wanna come over?"

"yeah ill be there in ten"

"bet, see you girl"

Purple hung up and i got off of goober and put my shoes on. 

"hang on guys"

I looked at goober and he took of the headset and put the controller down. He looked at me and smiled. 

"were you going?"

"purples"

"why? i thought we were hanging out today?"

"we were, now i'm going to purples, i'm bored"

"sorry"

"its fine, walk me out?"

"cant, gotta get on the game"

I rolled my eyes and walked to the door. 

"your pathetic"

Goober was already back on headset and laughing with his friends. I shut the door behind me and went to my car and drove to purples. 

Goobers pov

I was hanging out with green today since it was our 6-month anniversary. I was on headset play a game with duncan and blue and green was laying her feet on my lap and was sitting on her phone. I know it sounds bad but tonight i wanna take her out but i'm guessing she had other plans with purple and she was mad. Before she walked out the door i heard her call me pathetic and i threw the headset off and ran to the door and opened it and saw her already down the road with her car. I shut the door and went back to the game and told the boys what happen and blue and duncan laughed. 

"Your dumb" duncan said

"right but imma go, got shit to do"

"same, bye bro"

Duncan and blue got off and i turned off the consul and layed on the couch and picked up my phone and texted green.

To:ma baby:)

I'm sorry for being an asshole, can we hangout tonight please?

I put my phone down and went to my room to find the necklace i bought her a month ago. 

Greens Pov

I was in the car singing to "Do it again by pia mia" .

My phone started to buzz and i saw a text from goober. 

I'm sorry for being an asshole, can we hangout tonight please?

I rolled my eyes and pulled into purples driveway and texted her to come out. I texted goober back and waited for a reponse. 

To:Boyfriend:)

Its fine ig, but no im hanging with the girls tonight, play your game

I saw purple get in the car and she smiled and hugged me and saw my frown. 

"you okay?"

"goober just gets on my nevres, im breaking up with him"

"what, green! are you sure?"

"positive, lets go"

purple smiled and hugged me. "Ill be right here if u need me"

I smiled and drove to goobers house. 

Ten minutes later

I pulled up to goobers house and purple squealed. 

"what?"

"blue texted me, he wants to hangout!"

I smiled .

"tell him to come get you !"

She smiled and called blue. 

5 minutes later blue came and got purple and they drove off to do who knows what. I smiled and then frown remembering what i'm about to do. I opened my car door and step out looking back at all the memories me and goober had here. I shut the car door and locked it and walked up to the door. I unlocked the door with my key and walked inside. It was quite. I walked into the kitchen and set my keys and the extra key in the vase were he got it from. I got out a paper and pen and wrote on it. 

To:goober

I'm sorry, but it has to end. I'm tired of it and its best we go our own ways cause i just opened my eyes and realization hit me. I love you and i will miss you.

I set the note near the key and walked around the house and went up the stairs to his room and saw a picture of me and him on his dresser and a necklace and note next to it. I picked up the note and read it 

my princess, happy 6 months, thank you for lighting up my world and making me smile all over again and fall hopeless in love with you more and more.

I began to cry and i felt someone touch my shoulder. I turned around and saw goober behind me with the note in his hand and he was crying. I couldn't speak, i reached towards goober and put my hand on his cheek and he leaned his head on it and touched his hand on mine. 

"why...why are you...leaving"

"its for the best...i still love you"

"you cant leave me, not yet, not now. not ever"

"Im sorry..."

Goober began to cry more but made no sound. i brought his head down and hugged him and kissed his forehead. Seconds later he picked his head up and gave me the necklace. 

"please keep it, something to remember me by"

I nodded and he kissed my forehead one last time and we let go of each other. I walked to the door way and he looked at me. I smiled slightly and reached my hand out. 

he grabbed it and caressed my knuckles. 

"never forget me" we said it at the same time. We smiled and we leaned in and kissed one more time. I walked down the stairs and got my keys from the counter and walked out the front door and got in my car. I put my phone and keys and the necklace on the passenger seat and put my head on the steering wheel and began to cry and never stop. 

sorry guys!! but i hope you didnt cry. I listened to 

"what hurts the most by nightcore" while typing this. But xoxomarieeeexoxo out!
