chapter 6

 gwens pov

I was walking towards the back of the school to lot B. I heard my phone buzz and it was my step dad. I rolled my eyes and answered the phone. 

"hello.."

"gwen! were are you? you should be cooking me dinner!"

"i have school work too do, ill be home by 8"

"your mother wont be home till 1 and that only gives an hour beating! no dinner again tonight for you! pale bitch"

I heard the line go dead and my stomach growled. I looked down and shook my head. Ever since my dad  went on his business trip 1 year ago he has not contacted us and my mother thinks hes gone, so she found a new husband and he abuse me to the limit were i turned pale. My mother doesn't notice my skin, for the fact i barley see her, my step dad doesn't let me and when she try's i tell her i'm busy with homework or sick so i don't get a extra beating. 

I got to lot B and i saw duncan and a girl and they were smiling and laughing. I grew jealous and walked closer to them and i could here there conversation . 

"duncan, im coming over today"

"no, not today babe"

"butttt, duncan!you know my parents don't want me home today till 8"

"sorry babe, i have plans"

I was about to step out of hiding but someone pulled me down. I looked at the person and it green. 

"sneaking on people you like now gothie?"

I looked down and laughed.

"oh hush greenie!"

she laughed and pushed me. "sssshhh"

I looked at duncan and he was looking all over. I was about to stand up and go to him and courtney but green pulled me again. 

"let me come with you, i need to confront someone" green said while smirking 

I nodded and stood up and with green next to me duncan turned to us and pushed courtney off him and came over to us and smiled at green and then looked at me and side smile. Green pushed duncan and went over to courtney and pushed her. 

"you little slut, now tell duncan what you did or i will!"

Duncan lost eye contact with me and looked at courtney and walked over to green and gave her a weird look. Courtney looked up with a angry face and walked over to me and stood close infront of me. She ifted her hand to hit me and i didn't protect myself, i just let her. Courtney slapped me across the face and pushed me to the ground and backed up and looked at duncan.

"i cheated on you"

Duncan was speechless. 

"the boy, it was blue. I told him you broke up with me and u said u don't like me anymore and you dont care what i do"

Duncan looked down and then at green who was looking at duncan. 

"is it true green?"

Green nodded, "it wasnt blues fault, hes your bro and if he knew yall were dating he wouldnt have and he called her a slut, he wanted a slut to get the girl he likes out of his head"

Duncan smiled and looked at courtney. 

"ahh thats my bro, besides, bros before hoes"

Courtney screamed and walked off. 

I layed on the ground and put my hand on my cheek and i could feel blood. I looked at green and she looked at me and put her hand on her mouth and duncan turned to me and stood still. I put my head down and looked at the time. it was 5. I stood up and looked at duncan. 

"ill do the project by myself, its fine" I walked off and went to the restroom to wipe off my cheek and clean the cut up. I walked out of the bathroom and saw duncan standing there. 

"hey gwen, i wanna help with this project and get to know you"

I slightly smiled and looked at duncan. "duncan, you dont have too"

"i want to"

"tomorrow?"

"yeah sure"

"same place?"

"you got it"

I smiled at duncan and walked closer to him and put my hand on his mohawk and got a piece of fuzz out and dropped it on the ground. Duncan smiled and put his hand on my cheek and caressed it. "im so sorry". I shook his hand off and smiled. "its not your fault". "why did you let her hit you?". I looked down and backed up. "no reason" . Duncan grabbed my hands and pulled me closer. "there is a reason and im going to help you" I got out of his grasp and backed up . 

"duncan stop!"

Duncan got startled by my raising voice and dropped his arms. 

"I dont need your help! i dont want your help! leave me alone..."

I looked duncan in the eye and he looked at me and stood up straight. I walked off and went out of the school and began to walk home. 

7:55

I was 10 minuets away from home and i wasn't going to make it. I was going to get an extra beating. I tripped on a rock and fell. I scraped my tights up and my shirt had a hole in the side. I heard my stomach growled and i saw that it was 8pm. I got so scared and stood up and began to walk really fast. After ten minutes i got to my house and saw my mother in the driveway. I ran up to her and hugged her. 

"gwen!"

i cried an she hugged me back and pushed back my hair and saw my face. 

"honey, your so pale...why dont you eat?"

"marie! why are you touching her? shes sick, you will get sick dear!"

My mother let go of me and pushed me towards my step dad. 

"Im going out, ill be back at 11" 

I shook my head and my step dad smiled and walked towards my mother gave her a kiss and hug. I looked at the front door and ran inside and ran to my room and locked the door and looked out the window and saw my mother gone and saw my dad walk inside. 

"oh gwen! beating time bitch! come out"

I sat in the corner of my room and cried to myself. I heard banging on my door and my step dad screaming my name. I took my phone out and went to the picture of my dad, my real dad and cried. "help me...please". My door busted open and my step dad had a stick and smirked. "oh gwen, if you just sat on the couch then i wouldn't have to use this" My step dad pulled me to the basement and beated me with the stick till i couldn't feel a thing. 

11pm

I felt myself being dragged up stairs by my step dad and he threw me on the ground in my room and kicked me in the stomach to wake me up. I opened my eyes and saw duncan, but i was only dreaming. 

"thats what you get bitch" My dad slammed the door behind him and i layed on the floor hoping i could die and join my dad in heaven. I crawled to my window and saw my mom pull into the drive way and my step dad come out and hug her and kiss her. I shut the curtin and crawled to the bathroom and filled the tub up with mild water. I sat in the tub and cried. I grabbed my phone and called my dads number. 

"I need you"

thats enough of that chapter. This chapter was about gwen and duncan really. Next chapter is marinette and adrien or goober and green. but yeah love you guys! hope you enjoyed!
