Chapter 2
Summer went by and it was the first day in seventh grade. It was a new school, new teachers, and new people. I was so nervous, but I was also excited. In 2nd period, I was so happy to see one of my best friends, Isabelle, was in my class. I sat next to her and looked around the room and I noticed him. Matt Robinson was in my class! I still had a crush on him. I told Isabelle that Matt was in our class and she laughed. Isabelle grinned and said, "This is going to be an interesting year..."
I was at lunch and I told this to Kristy. She was like, "Oh my god! That's hilarious!" I blushed and said, "No, it's not!" Then Isabelle came up to us and was like, "What's hilarious?" Kristy said, "That Matt is in your English class." Isabelle said, "Ohhh... Yup. I told her it was going to be an interesting year." Oh I knew it was, but I didn't know how soon. I also didn't know what was about to happen next.
I went into my 6th period Science and guess who was in my class. Matt Robinson. We had assigned seats so I sat down and I just couldn't believe it. This was crazy! What was I going to do?
It was the end of the day now and I was so happy it was over. I was exausted and couldn't wait to get home. Luckily I didn't have to face Matt on the bus as well because my mom said she could drop and pick me up from school everyday.
I went to the front of the school where all the kids who are picked-up go. My mom wasn't there yet, maybe because she was picking up my brother from the high school, but I had time to think about Matt and him being in my classes.
My mom, after 10 mins, arrived. By
this time I realized that it was going to be okay because he didn't know that I liked him, and hopefully he never will.
