Chapter 1: I'm Jessica Wayne

It is my first day as a Junior and here I am laying on my bed not wanting to move since I love sleeping. Who doesn't? 

Finally I slowly climbed out of bed and shuffled to my mirror to be greeted by a not so pleasant sight. Me. My long brown hair was everywhere on my head, I had my wrinkly Ravenclaw shirt on, and my baggy black shorts that went to my knees. Ugh why does school have to start today?? I just want to play some Xbox .

I quickly took off my clothes and replaced them with some nice jeans and a Game of Thrones shirt. I then brushed my hair and threw it up into a messy bun. I turned my body in the mirror to show my skinny but not too skinny body and a chest and butt size that all the boys like. I dont like saying these things but I have a nice body. Also by now I am sure you are wondering why a not so bad looking girl like me is going to go to my first day of school in such a horrible outfit. Well I don't think it is horrible, I am too lazy to do anything "special" to it, and I don't have anyone to impress.

I just finished brushing my teeth when I heard my mom storm up the stairs and bang on my door, "Jessica Rose, you better be ready soon because your brother and sister will be leaving in 10 minutes!" She is so happy in the morning. Not! My Mom is the most cranky person ever. She always yells at me for no reason; well i may provoke her a little, but still! 

Well I shouldnt complain because she means well and I love her to death.

"Yes mom!" I shouted back. So yeah, that's me, Jessica Rose Wayne. For all of you Batman lovers you probably noticed that I have the same last name as Bruce Wayne, pretty cool right? I love Batman so I find it awesome.

I quickly grabbed my  blue backpack loaded with all the essentials I need for school, plus my iPhone, and ran down stairs to be greeted my my not-so-happy mom, "What took you so long?" she snapped.

"I was getting ready, jeez, what did you think i was doing? Finding a portal to another dimension?" i snapped back That would be awesome to go to another dimension.

" Do NOT get sassy with me this early Missy" My mom warned with a mean look. As you can tell my mom and I seem to have the same attitude, but I look nothing like her. She has short curly blonde hair, blue eyes and she is 5'7. As for me I have long wavy brown hair, amber eyes, and I am 5'10. Thanks a lot dad.

I immediately apologized and ran into the kitchen to get some food to be greeted by my older brother and sister who are twins. Jason and Cassie. Somehow both of these two inherited my moms looks too. Jason and Cassie had blonde hair, blue eyes, Jason was 6 ft and Cassie was 5'5. I was the black sheep of the family since our dad died.

I was the black sheep about almost everything. I always stayed in my room, I don't like talking to people, and I only have a few friends, but we are best friends. As for Jason and Cassie, well, they are always visiting places, love to talk and meet new people, and they have many friends.

I walked toward our fridge to get some milk for cereal when I heard a voice behind me.

"First day of school and you were going to be late if mom didn't come and get you," Jason said with a smirk on his face. Okay I am late quite often, not because I am prepping myself to look perfect and guys will fall for me. I take so long because i am just prepping myself to interact with people, I dislike people.

I quickly shot him a glare, but Cassie thought it would be funny to join in. 

"Yeah Jess, normally girls are right on time or sometimes even early" Ugh what a great way to start the day. "Plus," My sister said as she pointed her finger at me, "What is with the disgusting outfit? How the hell is any guy going to like you in that?"

My jaw dropped, this is my favorite shirt! It has the sigil for House Stark: the direwolf and their motto: 'Winter is coming'. Lets just say I am a huge geek and Game Of Thrones is my favorite TV show.

"Cassie, how dare you make fun of my Game of Thrones shirt", I nudged her jokingly, "Plus, why would I need a boyfriend?"

A huge smile appeared on her face as she wrapped her arm around me, "Listen here little sis, Who is going to be there whenever you need help?"

"Me?"

My sister just rolled her eyes at me " No you Idiot! Your boyfriend! You will need him to care for you when you are sick, to make you happy when you are crying, or help you when you are in trouble! You know what i mean?"

"Not really, why cant I just call a friend or just handle it myself?"

"UGH, sometimes you just can't Jess!"

"I think I could, I am pretty tough" I say flexing my flat arms.

Oh it is so much fun getting my sister mad, she is as red as a tomato right now.

"Jessica Rose try to get this through your thick sku-"

"Cass just drop it we know how stubborn Jess can be" Great Jason why did you have to butt in when it was getting interesting? He always ruins my fun at annoying my sister. She has a very short temper so it is very easy to get her angry.

My sister was still red, I could swear there was smoke coming out of her ears "Yeah but-"

Jason just walked up to Cassie and looked right into her eyes " Just drop it okay? She will understand one day just not today.

My sister just crossed her arms and nodded. Jason always found a way to calm us down and by us I mean either me and my sister or me and my mom. Okay yeah I know I shouldn't always bug them, but I like joking around and well... They don't.

My brother suddenly made a loud clap and walk to the doorway, "Alright my lovely sisters, we have places we got to be at, Cass and I got to get to work and Jess needs to get to school." My brother said as he opened the door for us.

"Thank you." I said. Alright Jess lets make this school year the best it has ever been.
