Back in Time- Damon Salvatore story

1. Hello Past

Damon looked at Bonnie as he stepped into the circle.
Bonnie- it's okay.
She started muttering quietly and then her voice was raising quickly. The candles were having their tiny fire on peak.

Damon was confused. He was human. He was alone. He was the only Salvatore. He had to do this no matter what.

Suddenly his heart started to pain. It was like... Someone is ripping it out. He was on his knees with seconds. What the hell! There was a blue light and everything was dark.

Damon didn't know how much time had passed. He opened his eyes to see he was on muddy ground. What the hell was he doing out here? He was hungry. Starving. He had to eat.

He was moving around when he saw a party near the falls. Wow. Food. He was sure this kids would be having lots of snacks and booze. He saw Stefan. Wait, Stefan? No way in hell! Screw hell! It ruined his life, one way or another. It destroyed his family. He also saw Caroline. He concentrated to hear the voice.

Stefan- Caroline, you and me.... It is not happening.
Wow! Stefan just said that. He really wanted to go and smack his brother's head for saying that to Caroline. He loved her. She was his sister in-law.

Wait. This is past. This all happened back in 2009. Great. He is a vampire. Today was the day when he made his epic appearance to his little brother. He fixed a quick snack and headed to boarding house. He was ready for this.

He knows Stefan will take time. Should he bite Vickey Donovan? Yeah, she was a bitch during the night Stefan died. He snacked on Vickey and blurred away not wanting to see the whole drama again. It just gets boring. While, he can think about the future coming problems.

He headed to boarding house. Ready. He had his crow flow inside Stefan's room.
Damon- pffff.... I'm dramatic.
He mumbled.

He saw Stefan turn with those confused expression.
Stefan- Damon.
Wow. He couldn't help but get emotional. Cut the guy some slack. He missed his little brother. His name never sounded this better before. If he don't get firm right now, he is definitely going to sob like a five years old, right here, right now. He put on a smirk before responding.

Damon- hello brother.
Stefan- what are you doing here?
Damon- me? What are you doing here?
Stefan- you hate small towns.
Damon- I missed my baby brother so much. Plus, you're here, I have to be here.
Stefan- there is nothing here for you.
Damon- I will be deciding that.
Stefan- it's been fifteen years Damon.
Damon- I really don't have energy to stay away from you even for five minutes.

Stefan- why are you here?
Damon- I told you, I missed you.
He crossed his arms.
Damon- want to tell me about the Kathrine copy?
Stefan- she's not Kathrine.
Damon- I used the word copy.
Stefan- stay away from Elena.

Damon- you stay away from Elena.
Stefan- wherever you go, people die.
Damon- and I don't care. Plus, I'm here now. It's gonna be amazing.
Stefan- Dam...
Damon- you're cute when you think you can push me away just like that. Remember one thing Stef, you are stuck with me no matter what. Isn't that why you forced turn me all these years ago? Deal with the consequences.
His voice was hard and firm.

Stefan- but you're a...
Damon- I'm tired. Get some sleep. I'm sure you have school in few hours. We don't want dark circles around those eyes of yours.
Stefan- why are...
Damon- I'm bored of this question! If you ever ask this question again, I will kill someone.

If he wants Stefan to do something, threatening was the only way. Nothing is ever easy with him. Nothing. If he tried to be good and nice... Stefan will think he's faking it. So, the hard way it is.

Stefan- you can't kill someone.
Damon- yes I can and I will blame it upon you. So behave around me or I will start with uncle Zach downstairs.
Stefan- ( growled) you think you can just...
He's not in the mood of hearing lecture from saint Stefan. He pinned him to the wall.

Damon- what did I just said about behaving? Do as I say or I kill and might be the Gilbert family is the first one I kill.
Stefan couldn't breathe. Damon removed his hand and Stefan slide down the wall, catching his breathe.

Damon felt bad doing this. But if his brother was anything, he was stubborn. So much that you can't even imagine. He bend down in front of his brother.

Damon- don't make things hard for me Stef. I'm your brother. Behave and everything will be good, hmm? Did I make myself clear?
Stefan didn't responded.
Damon- Stefan.
Stefan nodded.
Damon- good. Get some sleep.
Stefan looked up to see Damon was gone.

Damon headed to grill and settled on the counter with a drink. How was he suppose to keep them all alive? Starting with  Donovan family? Yeah, he owe Matt a lot. He would be in hospital. He will think about others things later. He should deal with Matt.

He headed to hospital and saw Matt outside with his face in his hands. He felt bad for kid.
Damon- Matt.
Matt looked up at him.
Matt- do I know you?
Damon- no. But...
He settled next to him on the bench.

Damon- (compelling) you will leave this town as soon as your sister gets out of the hospital. If you ever see any supernatural drama anywhere near you, you will leave immediately. You will take care of yourself and leave a normal life.
Matt repeated.
Damon- go home and start packing. Forget you ever saw me.
He felt light in his chest. Wow, that does feel good.

Damon headed inside the hospital room and healed the Donovan girl.
Damon- (compelling) you are going to leave this town for a fresh start. You will be a good big sister to Matt. You will take care of him and never do drugs, ever again. Forget you ever saw me.

He fled from the hospital. He headed back to boarding house. He headed to Stefan's room for his computer. Stefan was getting ready for school.
Damon- Stefan, I want your laptop.
Stefan- why?
Damon- because I need it. I don't have to explain myself to a three years old.

Stefan- excuse me?
Damon- computer, now.
Stefan handed the computer to Damon.
Damon- good. What is the password?
Stefan- screw you!
Damon- excuse me?
Stefan- no caps and space between screw and you with an exclamation mark.

Damon was surprised. Stefan was a dick.
Damon- weird. Thanks.
Stefan- what?
Damon- what?
Stefan- where is my brother and what you did to him? He never thanks anyone.
Damon- you're an exception, I love you right? You will have this back in few days, or Tonight.

Stefan- get yourself your own.
Damon- gee, thanks genius. It never occurred to me.
Stefan rolled his eyes. Something was different about his brother.
Damon- don't roll your eyes at me young man. I will have my own but I have to right now. Have fun at school.

Damon quickly transferred good amount of money to Matt and Vickey. This was like a big task completing. A weight from shoulder was removed.

Time for second task in hand- Caroline Forbes.
