Chapter 11 Enter the thief

As the sun began to set a Neil used wire cutters to get into the gate he crept passed guard patrolled the area the guard turned when he heard a noise the guard walked over to find out what it was Neil used the badge he early to open the door before the guard turned the corner they looked around for what he had heard until someone covered his mouth and drove a knife through his throat the man fell to reveal Reed after hiding his body Reed took his badge and made his way into the base

Once in Reed crept past the workers as he made his way upstairs to Gustav’s office as Reed walk up to the room he heard Gustav talking to Vince

“Was the Drachma weapon safely transported to the other base”

“ yes it didn’t have any problems getting there”

“And what about Ms. Wooden and her guest”

“They both left on a plane earlier today, why was they so important”

“It was something about that boy Reed that had Talis concerned”

“The kid talked big but I don’t think he was a threat”

“Forget about him have you found the experiment”

“No we are currently looking in the city but nothing has turned up”

“Where is Kim?”

“She just returned”

“Where was she”

“She said there was Rumors about the young assassin being here in Austria and she wanted to confirmed them”

‘Do you think she’s lying’

‘It’s a good chance she is ever since she returned from Europe she been acting strange”

“Keep an close eye on her I need to go have a word with Emily”

Reed hide as Gustav and Vince walked out the Room Reed caught the door before it shut after entering the room he locked the door Reed walked over to the computer Reed look through his files as he saw Gustav plans to fire missile from his transport train to the U.S Reed plugged in his flash drive and it immediately started coping Gustav files Reed suddenly heard someone picking the door Reed walk over as he backed up against the wall he drew his gun as the door opened Reed pointed his gun it was the banker he met the other night Neil

Reed closed the door as he directed Neil into the room

“It seems I’m not the only one after the data” Neil stated

“Who are you?”

“No one special just a thief, just like you”

As Reed and Neil talked the flash drive completed its download but it reported a breach in the system that sounded the alarm

“Looks like times up”

Reed open the door and looked down the hall Reed saw armed men coming his way Reed turned back to see Neil running out the other door along with the flash drive, Reed chase Neil into the manufacturing room

Reed ran into the room he looked around and saw Neil heading for the stairs Reed pointed his gun at him but before he could shoot a guard rushed him over the railing onto the conveyor belt the guard got on top, and started punching Reed until he drove his knife through the guards head Reed off the conveyor belt

Neil made it to the bottom of the stairs as Reed was recovering from the fall Neil ran as more guards entered the room as he ran a guard leaped from a platform onto his back making Neil drop the flash drive as he hit the floor Neil punched the guard as he got up, Neil ran over and picked up the flash drive before the guard rushed him to the wall Neil knee him in the stomach twice before punching him

Neil started to leave for the door but Reed stepped in front of him

“Your pretty quick Neil said

“The drive now”

“Shouldn’t you be more worried about them”

Reed slowly looked around him as they was surrounded by Gustav men

“You take left and I’ll take right”

Reed looked at Neil as there was only four on his side compared to Reed seven. One of the men charged toward Reed as he tried to punch Reed, in one swift movement Reed ducked punched the man in his stomach and then kick him breaking his leg Neil turned as a man was just about to punched him Neil grabbed the man arm and flipped him over his shoulder

Another man grabbed Neil with a bear hug as another one punched him Neil kick the man in his face before head butting the guy holding him. Reed approached the next man as he ran up, Reed caught his arm and broke it Reed rolled his back and kick the

man that was coming Neil got free from the bear hug he turned and punched the man that was holding him

Once Neil turn to the other man the flash drive was knocked from his hands as he was rushed over the machine Neil landed on top as he began hitting the man head to the floor until he was knocked out Neil took a breather before a man crept up behind him and began chocking him with a rope

Neil began moving around trying to get the man from his back as Reed pulled out a short knife and stab a man in his neck Reed pulled out the knife and through it into another guard eye Reed turn and quickly dunked as the guard grabbed a pipe wrench and started swinging at Reed, while Neil was still being chocked Neil back the man into the assembly line

Neil grabbed a sharp object from the line and stab the man in his neck the guard let go of the robe as he fell to the ground Neil leaned on the machine to catch his breath, while Reed continue to dodge the man’s pipe wrench Reed ducked as he swung and punched the man in his throat making him drop the pipe wrench into Reed hands, Reed swung the pipe wrench at the back of his legs swiping him as he hit the ground Reed came over the top with the pipe wrench smashing it into his head

After Reed killed his last man he walked over and pull out the knife from the dead man eye just as Neil walked toward him

“Well that wasn’t so hard” Neil said as he was breathing hard

Reed turned and through the knife at him, Neil moved as the knife missed and killed the man behind him

“You missed one” Reed mocked him

Neil smiled before more guards burst into the room with guns Neil and Reed ran as the men fired they jumped out the window onto a army trunk they both rolled off the trunk on opposite sides as they ran separate ways

Neil hide as a group of men pasted him once clear Neil gloated

“There nothing like a smooth get away”

Neil said as he felt his pocket to find the flash drive missing Neil patted his other pocket before he notice a girl pointing a gun at him

“Don’t move”

“Well if it isn’t the lovely bodyguard”

“Cut the crap where is the data you stole”

“I have no idea what you mean”

“Listen if you tell me know before-“

Before Jane could finish Gustav walked up along with Vince and some of his men

“Great work Kim and Mr. Caffrey I believe you have something of mean” Gustav said as he approached

“Sorry you will need to be more pacific”

Gustav became irritated

“The flash drive where is it!”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about”

“Well if you’re going to play it that way, take him away and find the other one”

As they took Neil inside a military truck drove toward the gate as Reed was riding underneath it
