Marinette P.O.V

I'm in front of the Effiel tower, standing there, in front of this sweet guy on one knee asking me to marry him. I don't know if I should say yes, or no. I really want to have a sign, anything. Even an Akuma, I know that hawkmoth isn't here anymore, but I know there's still hope.

A voice inside me is screaming 'MARINETTE, HE'S GOING TO COME BACK, AND YOU WILL GET HAWKMOTH'S MIRACULOUS' but every day I wake up to find that nothing happened, every passing hour I still hope like he's going to be here, waiting for me.

but first, let me tell you how I got into this awkward position.

*flashback to 2 years ago*

It's the last day of the school year and I'm kind of stressed. You see Cat noir and I made a bet, and if he won, we would reveal our identities, and well, he did.

This afternoon was Adrien's birthday party, and of course, Alya asked Adrien to invite me. The party was going to be until late tonight, but I had to go a reveal my identity to cat noir. Of course, he had to choose the day of Adrien's birthday. I knew I shouldn't have done that stupid bet. I told cat noir my birthday was soon, and he made a bet with me, that if he was to guess my birthday on the first try we would reveal identities, and guess what, he found it on the first try...

Right before Adrien's party Alya and I decided to go to the coffee shop right next to the school. As we walked Adrien and Nino joined us. I couldn't talk when Adrien was around, when I looked at him he smiled at me, and I just blushed, I couldn't say a word.

After taking our lemonades, we went down to the park where the party was. 

As we arrived, Chloe jumped on Adrien. I was impressed to see Adrien's reaction to the situation. 

"CHLOE, FOR ONCE STOP DOING THAT! I DONT LIKE YOU! I LIKE SOMEONE ELSE! YOU AND ME FORGET IT."

This is the first time I heard Adrien screaming on Chloe. They always seemed to be good friends, and sure Adrien would always hate on Chloe once she jumped on him, or call him Adrikens. But he never screamed at her. 

Then the rest of the sentence hit me like a truck. 'I LIKE SOMEONE ELSE!' he said. He liked someone else... I felt my heart breaking into millions of pieces as I was remembering his words. 

Adrien P.O.V 

Nino, Alya, Marinette and I just arrived at the park where I organized my birthday. We barely arrived on the set, when Chloe jumped on me screaming "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY ADRIKENS". 

I hated it when she did that, and this time, I had enough. I was happy today and I didn't want my day to be ruined by her. Tonight was going to be the night where Ladybug and I reveal our identity, and nothing could ruin that. So this time, I wanted Chloe to stop and understand that she wasn't the one I loved. "CHLOE, FOR ONCE STOP DOING THAT! I DONT LIKE YOU! I LIKE SOMEONE ELSE! YOU AND ME FORGET IT". Then Chloe ran away. 

I turned around to see a shock on everyone's faces. Alya and Nino were looking at me like an alien, and Marinette looked at me like she was hurt but shocked. I didn't really understand the situation honestly. 

After Chloe left, the party continued. Nino was a great DJ and Marinette brought food from the bakery. The party was fun, I saw Alya trying to mess around with Nino's DJ set. Everyone was just dancing and having fun. But as I looked around I saw Marinette standing next to a tree. 

"Hey, you ok?" I asked. Marinette is such a good friend, I mean she's always there for us, and she's super nice.

AUTHOR; OK FINE...

Marinette P.O.V

"Hey, you ok?" Adrien asked. He looked at me with his deep green eyes. I wanted to fall into them and never leave.  

"yeA," I said stressed. Honestly, I wasn't ok. I didn't want to reveal my identity to Cat Noir, and because of that, I couldn't enjoy Adrien's birthday. I mean ADRIEN'S BIRTHDAY. But this cat noir had to blow it all. I felt awful and I wanted to be alone. 

"Oh, ok" He answered. "Wait what time is it?" He asked. 

"huh... idk"I looked at my phone and crap '6:00' I looked up at Adrien trembling. 

"it's it's 6;00," I said even more trembling. "Adrien, im- im- im so sorry. I have to go- but great party tho"I smiled at him before running away. 

I arrived at my house. "Tikki, I'm scared," I said. 

"It's ok Marinette. I know it's scary, and I know you shouldn't reveal your identities but a bet is a bet Marinette." 

Well- "Tikki spots on"
