Kentucky

I packed up my stuff and headed to Kentucky from Minnesota. I didn't talk to Caleb at all. He told me he wasn't coming to Kentucky though.
Skipping car ride
When I got to Kentucky I set up my trailer and took out the horses to stretch their muscles. I saddled them both up. I left Sydney tied to the trailer and went to practice roping on Ryder. I was practicing roping when some cowboys came to watch me. When I finished roping I went and grabbed Sydney then set up the barrels. I warmed up Sydney first. When Sydney was all warmed up I did the pattern to jog her memory. Then I lined up outside the gate and took off. I took a sharp turn around the first barrel. On the second barrel I took it a little too wide and after the third barrel I raced home. I saw the same boys as earlier looking at me. I cantered my horse over to them.
"What are you guys looking at?" I asked.
" You got 13.463!"
"Eh it's not my best time on this horse." I answered.
I started walking towards my trailer and saw the guys following me. I hosed my horses off good then brushed them until they shown. I tied them to the trailer and sat down under the shade of a tree.
"What do you guys do?" I asked
"We are all bronc riders" one of them answered.
"Cool and as u know I'm a roper and a barrel racer" I told them. Then some more boys walked over and I could tell they were ropers. They bronc boys walked away. They ropers said " you are good at roping".
"Thanks" I told them.
" Why do you use a thoroughbred instead of a quarter horse?" One of the ropers asked.
"........
