The Best Day Ever! Or not? The Pool (Pt. 3)

Midas, Zaniah, Austin, and Reyna all stand at the pool entrance waiting for Madelane to arrive

Midas POV
Guys we should get changed so we can actually get it when she's here. Plus I don't wanna wait anymore. She's taking forever.
*grabs swimsuit out of the trunk and heads to the restroom to change*

Zaniah POV
Okay I guess your right *grabs bathing suit out and heads to restroom, pulling Reyna along with her*
Come on I got your suit for you
Reyna: oh ok thanks. See y'all in a few *she says rushing in with zaniah*

Austin POV
Well I guess I should change too *grabs swimsuit and head into restroom*

Madelane POV
*pulls up to pool carrying her beach bag, full of floaties, towels, rubber duckies, sunscreen, and her swimsuit. She slips into a restroom stall to change without anyone noticing*

~~~~~~~Girls bathroom~~~~~~~~~

*Zaniah and Reyna get out of their stalls, looking in the mirror.*
Zaniah: Reyna you look good in bathing suits. I look like trash. *she says brushing dust off of her bright purple two piece*
Reyna: shut up Zaniah no you don't. My orange two piece makes me look fat
Zaniah: no it doesn't and you're not fat!
*room goes silent as Madelane clicks the stall door unlocked and slips out wearing a black two piece and sunglasses trying to act casual. She walks to the door quickly to leave and find a chair to set her stuff in, face burning red the entire time*

Reyna: I guess she's still mad?
Zaniah: she'll get over it but don't worry about it. Atleast try to have fun
Reyna: yea your right. This is supposed to be the best day ever *she says a smile curving her mouth*
Zaniah: that's the spirit now let's go! *she says locking arms with Reyna and walking out confidently*

###########Boys restroom######

*Austin and Midas walk out of the stalls around the same time, going to the mirrors to fix their hair*

Austin: I wonder if Madelane is here yet...
Midas: I don't think she likes me. She always looks at me all mean and stuff.
Austin: yea she likes you y'all just don't talk that much. But you know who seems to really like you
Midas: who
Austin: her name is- *he gets cut off my the sound of a toilet flushing, now realizing they weren't alone*
Austin: uhmmmm let's go
Midas: wa... okay *he says grabbing the towels and rushing out by Austin's side*

*Everyone meets up by Maddie's table which is in the shade covered by a bright yellow umbrella*
Austin: h..hey Maddie. Glad you're here.
Maddie: uh.. yea *she says looking down awkwardly*
Reyna: sorry again for earl-
Maddie: can we please not talk about that.... let's just... try to have fun?
Reyna: ok... ok
Zaniah: come on*she says trying to clear the awkward* LAST ONE IN IS A ROTTEN EGG

* everyone rushes to the edge rushing to see who the first person would be. Everyone stops at the edge to see who was brave enough *

Maddie: uh.... who's first?
Austin: not it...
Midas: not it...
Reyna: not it....
Zaniah: not it...
Maddie: uhm y'all thought! I'm not doing it
Austin: oh yea?
Maddie: oh no...
Austin: *turns to walk to the table and just as Madelane looks away he turns back and pushes her in then runs off*
Maddie: *screaming and laughing* AUSTIN WHAT THE HELL!! *she says inhaling a mouthful of water and starts choking and laughing even harder*
Austin: hah whatcha choking on?
Maddie: son of a- *she grabs Austin's hand and pulls him in with her, laughing and screaming loudly*
Midas: CANNON BALL!!!! *he yells jumping in right next to Austin*
Reyna: y'all are weird *she says going in through the steps*
Zaniah: oh my god it's freezing *she says sticking her toe in the water and pulling it out quickly*
Midas: come on Z! It's funnn!!
Zaniah: nope. Not happening. Negative
Midas: fine then you asked for it * he says quickly, not giving her a chance to respond before pulling her in ontop of him*
Zaniah: MIDASSSSSSA AGAGAGAHHSHS WHY DID YOU DO THAT!!!
Midas: *laughing hardly* sorry? Nah not really that was the best!
Zaniah: ughh

The group swims and plays in the water for hours, playing with the floaties and such and playing tag and Marco Polo, completely forgetting about the world around them. At around 8 P.M. everyone gets out and dries off and gets ready for dinner

Austin: so Chick-Fil-A??
Reyna: yep. I call backseat!
Zaniah: me too
Midas: me three
Maddie: I guess I get the front by you
Austin: okay then it's settled. Get ready to buy half the menu because we are gonna feast
Reyna: good I'm starving
Zaniah: same
Austin: and we're off!

*the gang gets in the car as they drive to Chick-Fil-A still trying to make the best of the few hours left they have together.*

Little did they know that this would be one of the craziest days of their life
