I woke up in the bedroom Randy and I had shared last night, hearing a faint buzzing. 5:00 a.m. I turned so my back was to him. Why am I awake? I tried to get up but noticed weight on my waist. It was Randy's arm. I blushed at the thought. Being this close to him is just, amazing. Not knowing how to get up, I tried to slide the covers off but her Randy shuffle around and groan. I payed back fine for a few seconds making sure he was still asleep.
Once again I tried to get back up but immediately got pushed down and pulled. "Don't leave, your warm." He said, nuzzling his face into the crease of my neck and shoulder and took a breathe, and exhaled, sending shivers down my spine. "O- ok." I said, stuttering a bit. This feeling when I'm around him is so unexplainable. It just feels right. Like it's supposed to be this way.
I felt the corner of his lips go up, as he smiled and lightly kissed my shoulder and pulled me closer to him. This is what makes me wonder, are we a 'thing'? He hasn't exactly asked. So are we really official? Thoughts crowded my mind as I layer next to a snoring Randy. The topic would come up eventually, the best thing to do is just wait.
I ended up turning around so I was now facing Randy. He looked peaceful. Like if there wasn't a stress in the world. I brung my arm up and just put my hand against his cheek. He opened his dark blue-gray eyes and starred at me. I felt his grip tighten around my waist and he brought his face closer to mine. He planted a passionate kiss on my lips.
Smiling, I kissed him back, with just as much passion. After thirty seconds, he pulled away smirking at me. "Get your sleep beautiful, we're gonna do something today." I nodded in response and closed my eyes. Before I finally dozed off, I felt Randy's rough fingers move the hair out of my face.

I woke up to the smell of batter. I climbed out of the now empty bed and walked out to the kitchen area to see Randy cooking some pancakes. Walking up behind him, I wrapped my arms around his torso and put my face in his back as he just laughed. "How'd you sleep?" He said turning around so now I was wrapped in his arms.
"Great, and you helped me fall back asleep which was even better." I said poking his chest. He smiled down at me. "I'm glad." He said rubbing his hand through my hand. This reminded me. "Can we talk?" He looked at me concerned. "Of course. Everything ok?" He said as he flipped the pancakes onto two plates and brought them over to the couch.
"Yeah everything is fine, it's just I have a question." "Ok, what is it?" He said, trying to hide the fact he was nervous. "What-" I started, but got interrupted by my phone going off. "Hold on." I said picking it up and walking into our bedroom.
"Hey girly! Remember how I said we were going shopping today? Well let's go!" It was Aj calling me. "About that, can I take a rain check? Something came up." I said. She went quiet for a second and replied, "Sure, but your explaining to me what's going on later." "Ok, bye love ya!" I said. "Love you to, even though you're annoying!" She said. After that she hung up and I went back out to see Randy messing around on his phone.
Once he noticed I was next to him again he put his phone in his pocket and looked at me, eager to find out what I had to say. "What are we, exactly? It's confusing and I want to know or kinda figure it out." I said, looking down at my lap. He let out a sigh and grabbed my hand. "What do you think we are?" He said, rubbing his thumb across my knuckles.
"I- I don't know." He squeezed my hand. "I want to be in a relationship with you, no doubt in my mind about that, but I want to get to know you better." He said. That made me smile. Randy is nothing like Max. He is considerate and he's soft. He's nice. That's what I want. That's what I need.
"Randy, thank you." I said removing his hand from mine as I hugged him. He immediately wrapped his arms around me. "I feel the same." I nuzzled my head in his neck. We just sat in each others embrace. It was calming.
"How about we go work out a little bit and then go get some food?" Randy said into my shoulder. "That sounds great." I said, pulling away from him. "I'm going to go brush my teeth and get dressed for the gym!" I shouted as I walked into our bedroom.
I got my tooth brush and my comb and headed into the bathroom. As I was brushing my teeth I was thinking about the kind of outfit I was going to wear.
