I walked down the hallway, looking blankly ahead, in a trance. My brain was a jumbled mess if thoughts and fears. I wasn't watching where I was going and walked into a person. Startled, I looked up and saw the person that I hit. It was my crush. My face lit up in a furious blush and I leaned down to pick up the books that I had dropped. I straightened up and gave him a friendly smile. He returned the gesture and his friends quickly pulled him away. I was in most of his classes and throughout the day I felt him staring at me. I caught him after a class and went up to him. I was thrilled when he said, "Summer, will you go out with me?" I said yes.
