"He's dead inside! Don't you know you've killed him?!" The words rang in my ears. Then it hit me, I had to make things right.
"I did this. I left. I left the only person I have ever loved. I'm sorry. I was forced. I wouldn't have put you through hell if I had the choice. I know, things were so hard, but look at how they ended up."
He doesn't listen. Only anger builds inside him. I can't make out any of the words he is yelling at me.
"Please stop yelling at me! I'm sorry! I would go back and fix it until it was perfect!" I scream.
The tears falling down his face seem endless. I don't cry, but I feel his pain.
"Please, stop crying. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
He takes a few steps back away from me. His body relaxes, I see him go numb.
"What are you doing?" I tremble in fear.
I see what's in his hands.
"No! Don't! Please! Put that away! We can go home and fix things. Please just put that away!" I beg him
He aims it at me. I see all life leave his eyes. This is it. This is when I die.
"Please don't kill me! Don't shoot!" My words mean nothing.
With one swift motion, the gun turns around. The barrel pointed at him. The shot was the loudest thing I've ever heard, echoing off of every possible surface. His blood splattered all over the wall. I can't even look without the pure feeling of being nauseated taking over me. His body falls limp to the floor.
I've truly killed him.
