That same night...

"What was that, Mother?"
Questioned Finn.

"I don't know, son. I've never felt that much power."

"Could it be the witch coven in the Quarter?"

"It should be. No one person could possess that much magic. It would destroy them. When I was hit by that magic in my head, The magic felt whole, singular. Like it was coming from one person. Strange. I will find out more about this."

"ARGH! Who cares about that! We were so close to killing them. We lost our element of surprise. As we speak, our children are already conspiring to destroy us. And you're here talking about some bloody magic spell."
Mikael angrily shouted.

"Patience, husband. They may have won the battle today, but they will lose the war. I promise you. We WILL get our chance."

"SHES WHAT?!"
Shouted Freya.

"Dahlia is alive. So is Mom and Finn."
Said Elijah.

"How? How can she still be alive? How?"
Freya mumbled to herself.

"Calm down, Freya. We'll get through th.."

"NO! You don't understand! Dahlia is a vindictive bitch. She will undoubtedly come for us. For me! I will not go back to her. And she will come after Hope. She's a first-born, remember? Dahlia is surely coming for her now. She thinks Hope is rightfully hers because of Esther's bloody promise to her. I need to find Dahlia before she finds Hope. I need to, I need to....."
Freya rambled on, her body shaking with fear at the thought of seeing Dahlia again.

"Snap out of it, Freya! Control yourself. YOU are not going anywhere with her and SHE will go nowhere near MY daughter."
Niklaus said, holding Freya's shoulder, stopping her rambling.

"Yes. I'm sorry, Nik. It's just that I've spent my entire life with her I know how she is when she's angry. Esther and Mikael are nothing compared to her. Believe me."
Freya said, finally managing to compose herself.

"We do. But for now, let's focus on the task at hand. Our dear parents and brother are back with a vengeance. We need to find a way to stop them. We were lucky this time. But we will not be as lucky next time."

Just then, Marcel walks in...

"What happened here? It looks like a hurricane came through here."

"Long story, Marcel. What do you want?"
Kol asked.

"Niklaus, a group of my vampires have spotted your travellers. They agreed to meet you at 5pm tomorrow."

"Excellent. Thank you, Marcel. Anything else?"

"No. If you need anything, I'll be at the bar."

"Wait! Can I come with you?"
Rebekah asked.

"Ummm, sure. If that's what you want."
Marcel answered, suddenly unsure of what to do, before looking at Niklaus.

"Go on. Take my sister out. Heaven knows she needs a drink right about now."
Niklaus said.

Rebekah leaves with Marcel to the bar, holding his arms, but not before turning around and mouthing a "thank you" to Niklaus who smiled and nodded in response.
