Wails. Wails was all he heard. A figure crouched down at the end of a hall, hands over its eyes. The wailing sounds coming from it. He slowly stalked toward the end of the hall, the floorboards creaking. He gulped and stopped. The figure turned to look at him.
"H-Hello?" He called, frozen in his tracks. The figure let out a hissing noise, and

"The others are at Lukas' cabin. They said they'll meet us there." Petra said as she put away her phone. Jesse nodded.
"Let's get to it then."
Petra ran ahead of him, laughing as she kicked up snow in front of him, making him cough.
"Hey! No fair!" Jesse whined, wiping the snow off his face. He caught up easily, pushing Petra into the snow and laughing.
"Hey!" Petra yelled. She got up, brushing snow off her sweater. How is she not cold? Well you'd just have to ask her--
It's -9 °C(15.8 °F) outside, with a windchill making it feel like -14°C(57.2°F, could be wrong cuz I used a convertor--), which felt pretty cold. Jesse coughed and sniffed, feeling his body's natural reaction: mucus. He sighed and kept running, coughing again. He looked behind him, and Petra was gone. Confused, he stopped, before getting tackled to the ground again.
"Oof!" He grunted, falling. Petra snickered on top of him.
"Now I'm in the lead!" She jumped off him and ran away. Jesse shortly got up and jogged. He was tired.
Eventually, they arrived at Lukas' cottage. Tired and out of breath, Petra knocked on Lukas' door. Lukas opened the door, grinning like an idiot.
"Hey guys! Come in! Me and Jack found something cool!" He said. Petra and Jesse nodded and walked inside. They each undressed(except for Petra, since she was wearing a now-soaked sweater. Jesse insisted to change but Petra argued she could warm up by the new fireplace Lukas had built), and sat down by the fireplace, Lukas coming back with hot chocolate. He handed the hot chocolate over to the both of them.
"Thank you." Jesse and Petra responded. Lukas smiled. Lukas sat down beside Jesse.
"So... we're going somewhere?" Lukas asked. Petra nodded, grinning.
"Yeah! I found this creepy abandoned mansion! I was thinking that we could go over to it and explore! Maybe even play hide and seek or something like that." Petra said. Lukas shuddered, before shaking his head.
"S-sorry but no- I'm not risking my life." Lukas shook his head.
"Come on! We have weapons, right? Whatever's in there will be afraid of us!" Petra responded. Lukas sighed, and nodded.
"If we die it's all on you though, Petra." Jesse said, pointing at Petra. Petra only rolled her eyes.
"Soo another adventure?" A voice boomed. An older man with a scruffy beard walked in the room. Having an eyepatch and wearing a short sleeved shirt, with sweatpants. His eye that hadn't been injured during the Admin incident was blue. Jack had tea. He "preferred tea because it was healthier", even though the tea he has wasn't organic, compared to the homemade hot chocolate that Lukas had made, Lukas actually spent time going to see the best cocoa plants and making cocoa. Lukas also had a cow named Berry, since her spots reminded him of a cluster of berries.
He sat down beside Petra, yawning and putting his tea down.
"So where's Axel and Olivia?" Lukas asked.
"Sightseeing." Jesse responded, taking a sip of his hot chocolate.
"Where?" Petra asked curiously. Axel and Olivia had only gotten a chance to talk to Jesse before they left.
"Er.. If I remember correctly they went to some exotic island to see some cool jungle temples supposedly made by some ancient tribe." Jesse scratched the back of his head, trying to remember.
"Of course, those two lovebirds would go anywhere together." Petra said, gulping down a large portion of hot chocolate down before gagging at how hot it was.
"You sure that's not the same with you and Jesse?" Lukas asked teasingly. Jack started laughing, Petra started to fake cough and Jesse spat out his hot chocolate, it landing in the mug. Petra glared at Lukas, but shortly covered her red face.
"W-we'll uh-." Jesse stuttered.
A moment of silence fell over them.
"So uh... when are we going to this "creepy" place?" Jack asked.
"I was thinking tomorrow morning." Petra responded calmly. The red on her face had died down. Everyone else nodded.
Shortly after everyone had left, Lukas looked out his window.
"I have a bad feeling about this...." he muttered to himself.
