Yawwwn...
This class is sooo boring, I could DIE. The only thing that's keeping me awake is the constant paper balls hitting the back of my head whenever I dose off. Who is the cause of all the balls (heheh)? Jean. Yeah, I appreciate his effort at keeping me from sleeping, but it's starting to get annoying. A few even got stuck in my hair.
I put my backpack in my lap and start digging through it to find my earbuds. Instead I find...a note? I unfold it quietly-since there's no way sensei would allow notes in class-and read it:
Meet me in the biology classroom after school to study Titan anatomy, since we didn't get much work done last time.
-LeviAw man, I was kind of hoping to just go home after school today. It's been such a long week. But, if I want to be a good Titan club member, I should probably do the best I can to make it happen. Besides, it's just Levi. We're on good terms...right?
~Time Skip~
I walk into the biology room to find Levi sitting on a desk reading a bright yellow paper. I sneak over behind him, making no noise at all."LEVI!" I push his back as I scream at him.
"AH!" He jumps off the desk and stumbles onto the floor. Hahaha! I wish I could've gotten that on video!
Levi quickly crumbles up the paper and hides it, "When did you get here?!" I just continue laughing.
"I just got here." I say wiping a tear, "Say, what was that paper, anyway?" Levi fidgets with the crumbled paper he's holding behind his back.
"It's nothing, you nosy brat!" He snaps. "C'mon, we wasted enough time with you being late."
"Alriiiight, Mr. grumpy grumps." I tease.
But seriously, why is he hiding that paper? Could it be that important? Although, I feel like I might've seen a brightly-colored paper on the news board. I don't know...
Levi sits at a desk, I sit in front of him. He digs through his bag, "Did you bring the Titan anatomy book I gave you?"
I give a perplexed look, "Titan anatomy book?"
"I gave you a book, didn't I?"
"Uh...the last time we did this, we didn't do anything." Why does his eyes look so droopy?
"Huh, I thought that...there was...are you sure?" He slurs his words.
"Yes, I'm sure." I eye him, "Levi, are you feeling alright?"
"Yeah...I'm....fine." His head is kind of rolling back and forth like he's dizzy. I lean forward and put a hand on his forehead. Oh my god, he's burning up!
Levi grabs my wrist, "No...don't touch me there..." His words are airy and dry.
"Levi, you're running a fever!" His eyes are barely open.
I stand up and go beside him. I put his arm around my shoulders and help him to his feet. "Stop, I don't...you don't have to-" He's interrupted by a series of coughs.
"I'm taking you to the school nurse." I say sympathetically.
"N-No...I want to stay with you..." He starts coughing again. Dang, he seems pretty sick. Maybe I can drive him to his house.
"I'm going to take you home, so you won't have to see the nurse."
"Home? Yours...or mine?" Levi manages out.
"Yours." I walk him through the hallway.
When we made it outside, Levi tried to walk on his own, but he's too weak. I help him into the passenger seat of my car, then go to the other side. I want to get to his house quickly because he looks pretty miserable. He also told me his address, so at least I know where I'm going.
While I'm driving, Levi grabs my arm, "Y/n, where are we going?" He looks up at me with tired eyes.
"I'm taking you home, remember?" I keep my eyes back on the road, since I'm trying to get there as fast as I can.
"Oh...yeah..." He slumps in his seat and pushes his shirt collar over his mouth. Poor Levi.
