I heard a knock on my door. I look up to see the doc and the boss. Shit. I stand up, bowing amd motioning for then to come in and sit.
"Do you know why we are here?" The doctor says. I shake my head.
"Who got you pregnant? We have had some complaints of noise in your office and we have strict policies. No relationships between coworkers. Spill the name and you both may leave." The boss was mad.
"It wasnt a coworker, per say. I will take my leave. I apologize, sir."
"Should have known better. You stupid Americans always have something up your sleeve. Or in this case, up your skirt." He storms out. The doctor shyly follows.
Well, that confirms it.
I pack my bag and gather my things. How am i going to make rent?
I hear my door open and look up to see Jin.
"What are you doing?"
"Packing."
"Well i see that, but, i meant why?"
"I got fired."
"What? Why? Ill talk to him."
"I don't know if thats a good idea."
"Why?"
"Im pregnant."
"W-what?"
"You heard me. Now, move so i can take these to my car."
"No. We need to talk."
"About what? The fact that you got me pregnant? How im not going to be able to work, let alone make rent? How im supposed to pretend i dont care when im scared as hell? How am i going to raise a kid that wasnt going to exist for a few more years if it wasnt for your horny ass?"
"Calm down."
"I cant calm down. My hormones are raging due to this and its all your fault. You could have been a gentleman and left me alone like i asked."
"Stop talking."
"No! I guess i have you to thank for ruining my career."
"It was you?" I hear a voice pop up. I turn and see Jin's father.
"Yes, Father. Im sorry. I saw her and fell in love. Please forgive me." Jin bowed all the way, hands and knees with face to the floor. I swallowed hard.
"No. You both may leave. I dont want to see either of you ever again!"
"But, Father!"
"But nothing! Get out!"

Years passed. He still never talked to us. Jin moved in with me, we got married, and now have two wonderful sons, with another coming soon. We started our own business and it skyrocketed. Its the same level as his father's now. Showed him, huh.
