Part 34.lake trip.

(Jordan's POV)

So no one caught me and diesels full moon sneak out thankfully and since then we've been a lot closer.

As of right now we were sitting in the cafeteria his arm wrapped around me.
Kira and Jackson were making jokes at one another and everyone ended up joining in I felt so happy when I was with them.
Which was nice I haven't felt like truly myself in so long.

"Hey so what are y'all doing this weekend"Kira asked us.

I have no idea I was just hoping Some moonshine was involved.
I thought to myself.

"Have no idea"I said shrugging
"Why"diesel asked her.
"My parents are out of town so I was thinking we could sneak out to the family lake house."she said a big hopeful smile on her face.

I gave a skeptical look"they'll be beer"she finished off.
I made eye contact with her she gave me an evil smile one I couldn't resist.

"Fine I'll go-"I started she squealed my ears were ringing since mer have better hearing that wolves which is kinda funny since I never hear people when there talking to me.

"-If my dad says it's ok"I said
"He just got back in town and I'm his favorite,probably the only reason he's here and not with my mom"I said Kira huffed
"Fine.one time you do something right it had to be today didn't it"she grumbled off probably thinking I couldn't hear her.

"What's that supposed to mean"I said my eyebrows furrowed.
"Wh-what well your a bit of a wild child"she said stuttering at first.

"Lord if I'm what you consider a wild child you should never visit where I'm from I was a bit of a golden girl"I said smiling slightly laughing at it.

She blushed almost embarrassed she'd said anything.

The bell rung and I got up grabbing my bag.
"I'll text you later and tell you what he says"I told Kira she nodded I felt bad having made her feel embarrassed.

"By babe"I said to diesel giving him a quick pec on the cheek.
"Bye"

After school at home...

I got out the Jeep grabbing my bag and heading inside.

I heard a loud bang in the kitchen my instincts kicked in I grabbed the gun that was under the table
I cocked it and slowly rounded the corner.

There my dad stood with a frying pan in one hand hands up in surrender.

I sighed a smile going on my face
"You weren't supposed to get back till late tonight"I said as I put the gun on safety and onto the counter.

"Your mom wanted me to do a surprise check making sure the house wasn't a wreck I'm guessing since it's not you've been home all week."he said.

"Yeah that and the boys have to stay out side till before dinner."I said he laughed.

"Your mom always did that to y'all when you were little"he said a smile that faded.

"Have you heard from her any of when she'll be back"he said.
It affected him when they were apart it had been week since they last talked she was doing mer business while he had been with our pack back home.

"No but If I leave now I can go talk to her and be back by 8"I said
"No I'm sure you have plans it's Friday night go do whatever it is young people do now days"he said sighing.

"Actually deddy(dead-ie) I did have something I wanted to ask you about"I said battin my eyes.

"Oh lord what is it" he said trying to break eye contact with me scarred that I'd compel him I'd never do that to him but I can see why he'd want to make sure.
