(Diesels POV)

"Did you get it? She hung up."I say as they try and track where the calls from.

"Yeah she's in ...Albany New York! Really she hates cities like really hates them she won't even go to Raleigh or Charlotte!"lance says while looking at the computer over the hacker we hired in the pack to pinpoint my mates location.

Me and her family have spent 4 months trying to find her all over the country we were starting to think she'd jumped ship and had traveled continents.

"We need to leave now she might be leaving and that's why she called."her dad states.
I know what your probably thinking why am I helping her family find her and that's because after a doctor showing me proof my mates insane and learning all her previous run aways people tend to get hurt or burnt I should say.

"Okay boys get all your things together guns crossbows all of it where gonna need some ammunition to take her down"her mom states and I feel me and my wolf panic.

"Um excuse me we are not shooting my mate!"I say leaving no room for argument.
They all look shocked at the power my alpha voice has recently developed due to my now being a Lycan.

"Mmhhm"her dad clears his throat in order to regain control of the situation.

"Um she is extremely strong most likely the reason she ended up mates to you."he says
"It's true she is rare even rarer than a Lycan black tale mermaids only come around every other century only one can be alive at once and they live for hundreds of years...um don't tell her that though."her mom adds
"And because of what she is she has the gift of siren which I think we all have been subdued by before."she says everyone nods except me.

"No actually she never used that on me."I say and they all look at me shocked.

"Oh well pretty much all she has to do is look you in the eyes, and she can get inside your head, to make you do things you normally wouldn't."she finishes off welp my mate was certainly a complex individual I kinda understand how she went crazy.

"That and she's head warrior the girl was made to be a killing machine. I mean she even enjoys it!"
Okay so turns out I know nothing about my mate and we dated for around a year well other than the past 4 months I guess.

"Fine but please refrain from shooting if at all possible!"I say they all nod.

In New York, Albany

"Okay this is where she should be Lycan you go sniff her out"her brother lance says I look over at him letting my anger and annoyance radiate over him I don't stop till he smiles sheepishly before saying
"You know if you want to that is."he says his brother Tyler slaps him in the back of the head.

"Dude do you want him on her side we can't take um both down ain't got enough amo for that."he whispers, much like his sister it was, more like a delicate talk or a quiet yell than a whisper.

I get out the car only for him to try and get out the car with me I push him back in.
"Stay"I say pointing my finger at him he swallows before sitting fully.
"I'll call when I find her"I say her dad nods and I shut the door.

I really had to focus on not letting my senses over take me do to the loudness and the overly abundant smells of each person and place.

Eventually I was a able to latch on to something very familiar it resembled cherry pie but there was another scent that mixed with hers one I knew and hated deeply. Violets.
