Chapter 6 Problems with being broken and family reunion

(Y/n's point of view)

I woke up to see Ash and Finka at my sides curled up next to me. I moved my broken arm blade up to see it was no longer chipped and looked like a shorter blade. But I still could not get it to turn back. My other one would not turn back either. I laid there until I felt Ash start to stir. She opened her eyes.

Ash sleepy: Hey Y/n.

Y/n: Hey Ash.

Ash sleepy: You sleep well?

Y/n: I had you two here so yeah.

Ash sleepy: That's good. *kisses cheek*. What about your arm?

Y/n: It'll heal eventually. But until then I guess I am on the bench.

Ash sleepy: That's okay. I'm sure one of us will be here. More than likely Finka.

Finka started to stir. She opened her eyes.

Finka sleepy: Morning.

Y/n: Morning.

Finka pulled me closer and placed her lips on mine. We parted after a minute or so.

Finka sleepy: I could get used to that.

Ash sleepy: My turn.

Ash turned my head to face her and placed her lips on mine.

We parted after a minute or so. They nuzzled their heads back onto my chest. After about 15 more minutes of relaxing the three of us got up I went to go see if perhaps Doc and Ellen needed my help. I went to the med bay.

Doc: Ah Y/n. What brings you here?

Y/n: Just seeing if you need help. I am on the bench at the moment.

Ellen: Actually we have been working on something since last night.

Doc: Yes, fifty cups of coffee later. And we came up with a potential cure. It would only be temporary. Though, at least for now.

Y/n: Well I guess now would be a great time to test it out.

Doc injected me with it. I felt my body changing. Some of the spikes were starting to move into my body. I was straining and was in pain. My eyes were starting to back to e/c. But seconds later it stopped and it all went back to me being a monster.

Y/n panting: That *pant* almost worked .

Doc: Yeah. maybe we need to add a few more things.

Ellen: Or more of one thing.

Doc: We'll fix you one day Y/n.

Y/n: I'll even take full control of transforming. I like being able to help. I just don't want to have to be like this all the time. I want those that would want to cause chaos to look at me in fear. I want to continue to help team rainbow after this is all said and done.

Doc: A noble deed indeed Y/n. It seems your mind has changed since the first time we talked of a cure.

Y/n: As long as we can save as many people as possible we should be fine.

Doc: Yes. But unless we remove Hive.

Y/n: I know. But I think I am going to rest. That took a lot out of me.

Doc: Okay.

I headed back to my room. I rested until someone knocked on my door.

Y/n: Come in.

Thermite appeared.

Thermite: Y/n, some people want to talk to you. Follow me.

I followed him to the visitor center for those that are in the quarantine zone. And sitting there waiting for me was my mom and dad. I sat down in front of the glass separating us.

M/n: Y/n.

Y/n: Hi guys.

D/n: We were so worried about you. We thought you were dead.

Y/n: Starting to wonder if this is worse or not.

M/n: They'll cure you once they can right?

Y/n: That is the thing. As promising as it works so far. I don't want to give you false hope.

D/n: Even if they don't find one it will be okay. You are still our son. No doubt you resisted the control because you are a L/n.

M/n: Yeah. But please do both of us a favor and stay safe Y/n. I don't want to really lose you.

Y/n: I promise you I will stay safe.

D/n: Now go out there and save the world!

M/n: You heard him Y/n.

Y/n: Thanks guys.

I left.

Y/n in head: There is no turning back. Hive. You will die by my hand. And I will bring a end o the infection.
