JoJo's POV

"I just don't understand how someone could be that heartless... how the hell am I supposed to recover from this." I began thinking out loud to myself. Four years. Four fucking years down the drain and she doesn't even care. I gave her everything. I carried her child. Let her tell it, I was inconsiderate and untrustworthy. Yeah right. She doesn't understand the amount of love I had for her and I still have for her.

My thoughts were cut short when I heard my bedroom door open and close again. She pulled the covers back and crawled back into bed. She stared at me for a while before her phone screen blinked a few times. She turned her attention to the phone and a frown made its way onto her face. I knew it was her, the home wrecker. I let a deep sigh escape my lips before turning over and letting sleep take over my body.

...The next morning...
...9:00 am...

As usual, I woke up to an empty bed and slowly got up to use the bathroom. This had become a routine thing for me. Get up, look over, no Dynasty. It was like clockwork.

I finished up in the bathroom and went into our two-year-old daughter's room. She sat on her bed with her little, pink stuffed bunny in-hand.

"Mommy," she smiled.

"Hi baby, you hungry?" She nodded her head vigorously.

I slightly smiled and went to pick her up. She rested her head on my shoulder and we went downstairs.

"Mama! Mama!" Her head shot up and she reached out her arms only for her mother to take her from mine. I didn't even know she was in the house. She's usually not.

"I missed my little princess!" Dynasty said as she planted kisses all over our child's face.

I rolled my eyes and went into the kitchen to start on breakfast. When I got in there I was startled by a curly-haired girl sitting at the island. She looked at me and smiled a bit before waving.

I furrowed my eyebrows before speaking,
"Hi. Who are you." I didn't mean to sound as rude as I did, but oh well.

"Uh m-my n-name is-" before she could get the words out, Dynasty entered the room.

"Hey, Dani. You good baby?" Baby? What the hell? I swear this girl is about to drive me crazy.

"Y-yeah" the girl glanced at me before turning her attention back to Dynasty. Dynasty walked over to her and whispered something in her ear, making her laugh out loud.

I turned to the refrigerator and pulled out eggs, bacon, and veggie bacon for Dynasty. I learned a long time ago how to get back at people who did me dirty, kill them with kindness. Watch how fast they start to feel bad for all the shit they put me through.

The giggles of that Dani girl knocked me out of my thoughts. I finally leaned down and opened the cabinet close to the sink. I didn't realize I was bent over until I felt a pair of eyes on my derrière. I pulled out the necessary cookware to begin cooking.

Dynasty watched as I dropped her few pieces of veggie bacon onto the skillet. Everything else was finished, so I decided to calmly ask Dynasty to bring our princess so she could eat.

"Mommy! Eat Eat!" She screamed as they walked back into the kitchen. I smiled and gave her a quick peck on the lips before she and her mother sat down at the island. I placed her food in front of her and she thanked me before digging in. I smiled as I took Dynasty's bacon off of the skillet and put it on her plate next to her eggs. I quickly handed her the plate and turned the stove off. I turned my head towards Dani and gave her a small smile.
