irene. her real name was bae joohyun. she was taehyung's ex-girlfriend. now that said ex-girlfriend is talking to him.

"uhh, i-i'm jungkook." he stuttered.

"i know." she softly smiled. "i've overheared from your friends that you're interested in taehyung. correct?"

jungkook gulped, but nodded nonetheless.

"well," she adverted her gaze to the door where taehyung and jimin entered and sat at the front.

jimin looked back at them suspiciously, but minded his business and continued to talk to taehyung.

"i'm going to help you, jungkook." she smiled brightly.

it was an understatement to say he was shocked. he was feeling a mix of emotions, between the ones of shocked, confused, angry, sad, happy, and suspicious. "why..why would you want to help me?"

"because," she stared at him intensely. "taehyung really loves you and would do anything for you. i've know him for a long time, everyone at this school knows that i do. he wanted you while we were in a year of our relationship. he said he loved you, jungkook. i understood that you are the love of his life, i didn't want to stand in his way. so i let him go, because i love him. but i've found another, so don't worry about if i have a secret intent behind this. i really want to help taehyung, as a old friend and past-lover. and i want to help you, because i've seen that you've developed deep feelings for him, and wish for them to be returned. i can relate to you, so i wish to be friends and help you out, jeon jungkook." she finished with a confident smile.

jungkook sighed happily. "a-alright. thank you for wanting to help me, and wanting to be my friend. i hope this will work out in the end, irene." he flashed his bunny smile.

she smirked. "i'm sure it will."
