"Kim!" Alyssa shouted asking for a set. Her bestfriend gave what she wants and gave all her might to drill that ball down the line.
"Nice one girls!" Coach Ramil said and blew his whistle. Coach asked them to gather for a huddle and he instructed the girls for their opening the next day.
Alyssa's beside her bestfriends, Ara and Kim who are annoying her.
"Ly? Ano na?" the two girls (not at heart) is persuing her.
"Ano ba naman? We have a game tomorrow." Aly said na napipikon na.
"Dating gawi naman ito diba?" Ara said with pleading eyes na nakakadiri for her.
"Iki-kiss kita kapag sasama ka." Kim said. She cringe on that idea.
"Kim! Tumahimik ka na nga mas hindi sasama sa atin yan ehh." Ara reacted. Kim zipped her mouth for her to shut up. "Ano na Ly?" she added.
"Nope." she said and popping the p.
"Kayong tatlo! Since di naman kayo nakikinig kayo mag-aayos ng mga gamit dito. No buts! Punishment yan." Coach Ramil said and someone from the team lead the prayer before dismissing.
"Langya! You both deserve to be punished not me." Alyssa said while picking the balls.
"So sasama ka na?" Kim asked her.
"Hindi nga. I'm having my monthly check-up." Alyssa said and rolled her eyes to her bestfriends.
"How about after?" Ara asked. Ara and Kim both are fixing the net.
"I want my alone time possible. Can you guys please." Alyssa said while looking at her bestfriends with pleading eyes.
"Saan ba kasi kayo pupunta at kanina pa kayo naguusap?" Cyd asked na kararating lang from the changing room.
"Tatambay at Den's office sana." Kim lied.
"By? You sure you're going to Den's office?" Cyd asked. Dahan dahang umiling si Kim and Alyssa's just surpressing her laugh. 'Langya under pala bestfriend ko.' she thought.
"Where are you going ba?" Cyd asked now raising her eyebrow. And that's when Alyssa know they're in trouble.
"They both want togo walwal before tomorrow's game." she answered innocently.
"And you?" Cyd asked her, glaring.
"I'll be having my monthly check-up and I can't bail that out." She answered while drying her sweat from the training. "I'll shower muna." she added and the three girls nodded.
When she entered the shower room some of their teammates are just changing their shirts. While she's waiting for a vacant shower room.
"Hi ate Ly." Tin said.
"Hi Tinney. What's with you?" she asked to the girl beside her.
"Wala lang, I noticed your skinny na." Tin said poking her upper arm.
"I'm skinny naman talaga." She answered.
"I-uhm not that skinny, skinny skinny." Tin said. napakunot naman ang noo ni Alyssa.
"What's skinny-skinny? Payat-payat?" Alyssa said and chuckled, natawa naman din si Tin.
"Ate Ly talaga. Basta ate if anything happens I'm here." she said and pointed a vacant shower cubicle.
