3 weeks later

Ryder's POV

3 weeks, 3 weeks since I last saw her alive, 3 weeks since I last saw her laugh, smile, 3 weeks since I last saw her walk.

"Ryde."

I look up and saw mom, "Yeah?" I asked.

"I asked if your going to the Hart's party tonight, it's New Year's Eve." She said.

I shook my head, "No thanks, I don't want to celebrate new year with out Bella." I said.

I then sigh, "I'm just tired mom, I'll just go back to my room." I said, I didn't wait for her to answer when I went back in my room, laid down on my bed.

I look at my right, and just saw the picture of me and Bella when we were just in first grade, at the schools Basketball court, my arm wrapped around her shoulder she put an arm around my waist, I then look away from the picture.

I remember that day clearly.

"Ryder!" Bella yelled.

I began running around the court, me laughing, "Catch me if you can," I said.

She then pick up her speed and I slowed down a bit, I clutch Bella's trophy with one hand.

"Give it to me," she demanded.

I put the trophy up in the air, "Try and grab it," I said.

She then jump and took the trophy from me.

"Ha!" She said.

"Ryder! Bella!" Mom called us.

Me and Bella ran towards her, "Yes?" We asked.

Mrs. Hart took the trophy from Bella, "We'll take a picture of you guys," she said.

Me and Bella stood beside each other, I put my arm around her shoulder, she put her arm around my waist. We both smile wildly at the camera.

"Best friends forever!" We yelled.

Mo and Mrs. Hart laugh, "Come on guys, we still need to buy cake."

We both jump, and held our mother's hand.

"I miss you Bella," I said.

"Your not the only one."

I look at my right, there stood Jason, Pamela and Bradley.

I sit up strait, "Hey guys," I said, not looking at them, but at Bella's window.

I the look at the sketch pad, where we write down the words we want to tell each other.

Hey, where were you?

Hahaha, you know you love me.

Am I the hottest and strongest.

"We would always find a way to talk to each other," I said, I then laugh a little, "She would always be there for me, never left my side when I need her."

Pamela sat down beside me, then put a hand on my shoulder, "We know, she have always been there for us, right or wrong, good or bad, short or long."

"She's like the sister you never had," Jason said.

I then felt a tear slip down my cheek, "I always know, I have always known that she's sick, I didn't tell you guys because she didn't want you to know. I always knew, I started to accept it when we were at the prom, I accepted that we all will die, sooner or later, but she chooses sooner, but on December 3, it was like, I just knew about her sickness, it was like it was also my end."
