Chapter Two

The next day, as (Y/N) woke up, she noticed something.. The bird was up and chirping! She jumped out of bed and ran over to it, with unknowing grace, she swiftly lifted the bird and nuzzled it, "Ready to go back home?" (Y/N) softly asked. The bird chirped, (Y/N) then opened the door and stuck her hand out. The beautiful bird flew away, in great health. An obvious rustling noise was heard from a bush. (Y/N) stared at the bush, slowly stepping back into her house. Something jumped out in front of (Y/N) startling her, "(Y/N)! I need to leave.. If I stay here prince Raji is going to force me to be his concubine.. And only for my red hair..." The first thing (Y/N) noticed was how she cut her hair, "Boi Raji is like a mosquito. Tiny and annoying but can do a whole lot. I'm coming with you, I can't leave you, we're all we really have left of our family. Can I bring my cat?" (Y/N) went on about how they can't lose each other. "Yeah, you can bring Jinx. But I only really have nuts, and a small amount at that." Shirayuki looked down, "Hey hey! It's fine, cheer up! Maybe by traveling we can find you a boyfriend~ oh, and I'll be bringing some food along too, so don't worry." Shirayuki nodded and said, "Meet me at the wagon load ups." (I dunno T-T) (Y/N) nodded and started packing up essentials. As (Y/N) was packing, she didn't notice that someone was also packing up, and it was not her sister. (Y/N) finished packing for the road quickly, she grabbed a small basket and put a blanket in there for Jinx to sleep in. As she made her way out, she made a mental note that she needed to find some more herbs. This little road trip would lead to a land that has different herbs, all well and good for animals and humans. (Y/N) was fast on her feet, and in no time she was at the wagon load ups. She saw Shirayuki sitting on the back of a wagon, so, (Y/N) just kinda sat next to her, "You literally only brought nuts and a cloak. You're crazy. But the good kinda crazy I guess." (Y/N) said and made a face sticking out her tongue. Shirayuki weakly laughed and said softly, "I love it here.. but if prince Raji wants to play that game, then I will gladly leave my hair for him, but not my body. He disgusts me." (Y/N) sticks a thumb up, "That's the spirit! Let's get somewhere where we can be happy without you turning into a concubine." As Shirayuki and (Y/N) silently sit on the slightly bumping wagon, Shirayuki falls asleep. Not too long after, (Y/N) falls asleep as well.

The man riding to wagon went to the back and woke the two sisters up saying, "this is the farthest I can take you young ladies." The two girls both nodded their heads in gratefulness. Soon after, they both just kinda headed for the forest not knowing where to actually go. Shirayuki blurted, "(Y/N), I see an old mansion up there. It's pretty odd that it's out in the middle of the forest, isn't it?" (Y/N) looked where Shirayuki was looking and gasped, "It looks huge! We should probably go ask for some place to stay at the moment though, so, let's go over there and see if anyone will help us." After (Y/N) said that, Shirayuki and (Y/N) shared slightly happy glances at each other. Both of them started walking and maneuvering around the trees, vines, and ditches that take place along the way. They soon got there in no sweat, and Shirayuki knocked on the door, like, 10 times, "Shirayuki, let's just camp out here for now. It doesn't seem like anyone is going to answer." (Y/N) looked at her sister with a bit of sadness in her eyes, "I'll keep you warm, I promise." Shirayuki and (Y/N) layed down near the corner of stone walls that surrounded the front of the mansion. Shirayuki fell asleep after mumbling something. (Y/N) put a small blanket on her peacefully dreaming sister. Soon after, (Y/N) felt that same drowsiness and started to feel her eyes droop. Knowing she needed to rest, she put Shirayuki's nuts away before the birds ate it. She got out a small blanket for herself and laid on the side towards the corner more. Someone was looking down at them from above. The person thought, 'oh, my precious (Y/N)... How I long for your beautiful voice and body..' the figure maniacally grinned and the sun went down, leaving him to sneak and do as he pleases.
