Text: "They that trust in the LORD are like mount Zion, which is not shaken, steadfast for ever: as the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so is the LORD, round about his people, from henceforth and for ever. the wicked shall not dwell upon the lot of the righteous, that the righteous may not lay his hand to iniquity: do good to the good and upright in heart: as for them that turn aside to crooked paths, thou shalt bring the LORD. together with the evildoers, Peace upon Israel! "

Psalm 125

Interesting that today, reading this Psalm, I realized that we always focus on the part that says: "Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, who does not tremble." Yes, we usually know this sentence by heart. But we often do not pay attention to the second sentence that says, "As mountains are round about Jerusalem, so is the Lord, round about His people."

And really, what a difference it makes when God is all around us!

We want to be firm and not shaken by the afflictions and struggles that we go through here, but we are not always allowing God to be around us, much less around us. And His will is always to be with us. It is always to have an intimate relationship with us. Every day when we wake up, He expects us to remember to thank, to praise, to talk with Him. Give a good day! Why not? He is our Father, and we have free access to Him through Jesus and the Holy Spirit who dwells in us. He only expects us to want Him. In our lives, so that He may be around us and around us.

So, any situation that catches us unprepared will be delivered into His hands and He will deliver us, give us victory, teach us how to act, how to speak, how to walk, how to look!

And I see how hard it is to trust fully in God every step and minute of our day. No matter how hard we try, this world is in darkness so thick it has hours that we do not even think, we only act by our will and we do things in our strength, murmuring, which is worse! And then ... bah ... well after ... we remember ... why did not I pray? One minute of prayer would be enough for God to solve.

Why can not we remember and have the fruit of the Spirit, which is love? If we live, do we know Jesus, do we want to be as He was? Pure love! It should not be so hard to love. It's just a decision we make every day. In particular, I have tried to change in this respect, and to love more and to give everything in the hands of God.

I confess that it is not always easy. At least for me. I know people who do it very easily and God works greatly in their lives. Intimate experiences with God! If we really want to be filled with the Holy Spirit, to be like Jesus was and to love God above all things and our neighbor as ourselves, we really need to want and ask God to help us and decide to love every day, to make a difference and always pray without ceasing. How God likes it!

Then we will be like the hill of Zion that does not tremble! And God will be around us and around us every day. And we shall have the good of the Lord, the favor of him also, even in the midst of the storm, we shall be in peace!

May God bless you on this day!

Peace!

Take a few minutes of your day today and listen, meditate on this praise and talk to God, talk to Him, because praying is talking! He will be happy with you!
