"My Diamond, he has arrived." said Pearl, in her haughty tone. Lance waited outside patiently, and Pearl gestured for him to enter. He did so, bowing to Blue Diamond, before speaking to her. He cleared his throat, trying not to sound nervous--Blue Diamond was even bigger and more intimidating up close, even if she wasn't as cut throat as her sister, Yellow Diamond. Lance smiled, though he imagined it came out wrong.

Blue Diamond leaned forward, her face obscured by her cloak's hood. "Lance the sapphire, tell me what is going to happen here" she demanded, her voice soft, yet cold.  Lance inhaled then exhaled, calming his nerves. He shouldn't be so worried about speaking to a Diamond; he did it all the time, he was a Sapphire, a gem who could see into the future!

"My Diamond, I foresee the rebels attacking the Cloud Arena. Before they are cornered, they will destroy the physical forms of seven gems, including two of my Ruby guards, and myself. Once my physical form is destroyed, they will be caught. The rebellion ends here." Lance said, this was the future.

"Thank you," Blue Diamond said, letting out a sigh of relief. "That is all."

"I look forward to seeing you again on Homeworld, My Diamond." Lance said, bowing lowly, before straightening up. Being a casualty was something Lance was okay with; as long as the rebels were stopped, he'd do anything to help. Besides, this was the future he saw and there was no other way around it, and he was perfectly okay with it.

Lance turned to Keith, a small, sad smile on his face. "What a beautiful planet to build a colony, it's too bad I can't see more of it."

"Um...we still have time." Keith said, awkwardly. Lance smiled.

"That is a nice thought, but, no. There is no time."

"Blue Diamond, you must leave this planet! There will be no gem colony here!" Shiro said, the leader of the Crystal Gems.

One of Lance's Ruby guards called out, "It's the rebels!"

Murmuring broke out amongst several of the elite gems there, many frightened, while others sounded outraged. Lance sighed, everything was going according to his future vision, which meant, soon, they would be captured. One of the gems cried out, in fear:

   "Who are you? Show yourselves!"

"We...." Shiro began, as he and Coran appeared together, "Are the Crystal Gems!" they finished in unison. Blue Diamond's palanquin grew things like legs, and crawled away. Blue Diamond and her Pearl were safely out of reach of the villainous Crystal Gems. Coran, Shiro's Pearl, defeated many gems before the Ruby guards intervened. They formed into one giant Ruby, and charged at Rose Quartz, but, sadly, they were vanquished by Coran's swords.

Lance sighed, as Coran turned to her. He faced his remaining Ruby. "You've fought well."

Keith realized what was happening and he couldn' t handle it. Lance had known that Ruby would fail, and had accepted his fate. But Keith? Keith couldn't. He wouldn't.

"NO!" Keith shouted, rushing forth and grabbing Lance.
