chapter 20 my parents want me to do what?

I was standing at the door in shock and I heard a voice behind me say *mommy* and I turned around and I seen Geo standing there holding his arms up I picked him up I glared at my parents the ones who kicked me out when they found out I was pregnant with Kiyan and I ended up homeless all through my pregnancy and I was thankful my baby was still alive because I didn't have the nutrients I needed for my baby to stay alive I begged for money on the streets because I couldn't get a job because I didn't have a high school diploma I dropped out in the 10th grade because I was pregnant with Kiyan and I couldn't deal with the stress of school and my parents didn't care because they were either drunk or high or on some type of pills they got from pill sellers and they sometimes stole my ADHD pills and sold them (yes I have ADHD) it was very hard to control when I was pregnant with Mateo and I knew it was unsafe to do but that was the only way to control it but anyways enough about that

*What do you want I don't want you anywhere near my son* I whispered to them so Eliza wouldn't hear it

*We want our daughter back we have changed we went to rehab and we have been doing better please come stay with us again Sasha your brother misses you* my mom begged staring at me I looked down and shook my head *no and I'm getting custody of Mateo* I was not staying with them even if they changed and that's final no ifs or buts about it

*No I'm not staying with you....you guys are nothing to me anymore I know they say forgive and forget but I can never forget what YOU GUYS PUT ME AND MATEO THROUGH* I yelled Alex came running down the stairs staring at me as if I had 2 heads and he looked at me and he looked at my parents with so much rage he ran up to me and pulled me behind him

*SHE IS NOT GOING WITH YOU WE KNOW YOU NEVER CHANGED* he yelled and I heard a voice behind me and it was full of soo much rage

*GET OUT OF MY DAMN HOUSE NOW MOM AND DAD BEFORE I CALL THE POLICE AND LEAVE MATEO HERE* I turned and saw Eliza standing there with a very mad look on her face she had her fists clenched and I stared at her with so much sorrow and I heard a crunching noise and I turned and saw my *dad* on the ground,he was holding his nose and there was blood coming from his nose and I smirked,I ran up to Eliza and grabbed her arms trying to calm her down and she started crying I held her in my arms she just broke down and she started punching herself,my mom walked up to me and she tried to hug us but I pushed her back with so much force that she fell over and landed on her ass and I started laughing she stared at me with hurt I turned around and walked away

*WE WILL GET YOUR SON ELIZA* I heard my mom yell and I stopped dead in my tracks and I turned around and I charged at her and I punched her in the face I wouldn't stop until she felt my pain that she cause me and my sister and my brother

*GET OFF ME* She yelled trying to push me off and I felt someone pull me off of her and I started crying and I buried my head in Alex's chest

*GET OUT OF MY HOUSE* Alex yelled and I felt tired from yelling and punching my mom so I stood up and grabbed Mateo out of Eliza's arms I walked over to the kitchen and Mateo followed and I set them on the counter they both started giggling and I laughed,I felt so much better I knew that I would have been a good mom because I took care of Geo when Eliza was babysitting I poured Geo some apple juice in his sippy cup and I handed it to him and I got a sippy cup for Mateo and I put some apple juice in his as well,I cut up some apples I grabbed him and Mateo and I walked upstairs and I went to my room and I sat them on my bed, they both started munching on there apples, they stared at me,I went to the guest room,I got my son Kiyan out of his crib and I walked out and walked to my room just in case Geo or Mateo would fall out of the bed, I laid them down and I took Geo's sippy cup and gave him a pacifier,I set Kiyan down and I changed his diaper after that I gave him a pacifier and I laid down with them beside me,I fell asleep and Kiyan on my chest and Geo and Mateo on each side of me cuddling to me closely and that's how the rest of the night went
