Second Attempt

Len walked into the apartment slamming the door behind him. This got the green haired girl to come out if her room and look at the younger. "What's up?" She looked at him with concern as she noticed the boy packing what few things he had plus his share of money. "Tonight we will try again succeed and get out of this hell hoke of a God damn town." He then aggressively zipped the bag shut. Gumi smiled. She had Len back. She didnt care what snapped in him as long as he was back and he was hers. Later that night the two got into their disguises but because of his anger and depression Len forgot his colored contacts. The two walked over to the ally where they woukd hide their change of clothes and then snuck to the bank. A guard by the door went unnoticed as they snuck in through a window. They then began tiptoeing their way to the vault watching for anything hidden along the way. "This is it." The two stopped as they reached the vault. Gumi pulled out her stethoscope and began playing with the code to open it. Once she heard the clicks she needed the door opened on to reveal another but with a number lock. "Shit. I didnt know this was here." Len shook his head. "Neither did I." The two stood in awe as they looked around them until Len remembered what Kaito had told him. He had said that his father loved the way the two kids birthday months flowed together. It was worth a shot so Len walked up to the vault and typed in 0102. January and February. The vault lach lifted allowing the two to open the door. "Nice job Len." Len nodded as Gumi walked in taking the necessary percussions to remive the ink from the money. Len stood there as his mind raced about Kaito. He still cared about him. 'I can't do this to Kaito. This will ruin his dad and make their lives hell. I can't do that to him.' Len looked around and found a cammera he then looked directly into it before hitting the alarm. As he did this he made it look as though he were about to pass out so that Gumi wouldn't be as uspet with him. The alarm sounded ringing in their ears. "What the hell Len!?" "I'm sorry Gumi." The two were about to run but were stopped by the security guard who had ran to the vault. "You two are going down for a very long time." He read each of them their rights and walked them outside. He put Gumi into the car and as he was putting Len in Kaito showed up to the scene. The two boys made eye contact and the blue haired boys heart sank further than he thought it could. "Len?" The police ride was quiet with daggers being shot at to Len by the other. They were then separated into two different interrogation rooms. After some persuasion Mr. Shion was allowed to listen to the interrogation. Len was the first to be questioned. "Are you and her the bandits that keeping hitting up banks and stores?" Len kept silent not sure of what to do. Not to mention he couldn't get the fact that Kaito had seen him out of his mind. "Listen kid. If you talk we will cut you a deal." Len looked up at the detective. He brought his hand up removing the wig letting his hair fall. He then grabbed his pony tail and pulled his hair back. Leon stared in shock as he looked at Len. He had liked the boy and was amazed such a shy kid had robbed so many places. "It was my idea to rob Mr. Shion. I felt bad and wanted to leave so I bumped the alarm. I was gonna run and just stop robbing but the guard got there quicker than I thought. I deserve to rot in jail." Len broke and began to cry silently. He brought his hands up to cover his face and let the tears fall. Only quiet sobs were heard as the two detectives didnt know what to do. They didn't expect it to be so easy. "Mr. Shion please don't go in there." Len looked up as he heard this and saw the blinde haired man staring down at him. "What made me so different from the others that you felt bad?" "I love your son Mr. Shion. Thats two things ive done wrong for you and your family today. I'm so sorry. I will do all of the time I have to just go easy on Gumi. Please." The chief detective came into the room pulling everyone out except Len. After what felt like forever and his tears had dried up the door opened revealing one of the detectives. Mr. Shion is dropping all charges against you and Gumi. Whether or not your parents charge you for being a runaway we will find out when they get here. Same goes with everyone else you have robbed." Lens eyes widened. He was then brought out to the main room to be put in a cell as they waited for his parents to show up. Outside was Leon who stopped them. Len looked at the older male with wide eyes. "Why did you drop the charges? I deserve to go to jail." "Thats why. You know youve done wrong. And I know that my son loves you too. I don't want to be the one who puts his lover in jail." Len wanted to cry. He mever had someone show so much care towards him. That didn't last lkng though as another door could be heard opening. Gumi came out yelling. "You son of a bitch! I cant believe you told them!" Two officer held onto her as Len flinched away from her. "Len!" Len turned and internally cringed as he saw his sister running towards him. Behind him were his mother and father and a young boy he had never seen before. Rin hugged him close and his oarents stared at him. After a moment he felt them hugging him and slight sobs coming from his mother.
