The next morning Amanda woke up with a massive headache. The first thing she thought about was about James cheating on her. She didn't want to leave her apartment and stay in all day, but she knew she had her bakery to take care of and she enjoyed doing it. Hopefully it would take her mind off the whole situation.

She stretched and reached over for her phone that was on her nightstand. She opened her phone and saw absolutely no message from James. What was she expecting? An apology? An effort from him to get her back? Amanda sighed and shut her phone off. She had no time for this nonsense.

She forced herself out of bed and headed to the bathroom to freshen herself up. Amanda decided to wear her blue jeans and a simple tank top. She put her hair up so none of it would get in her face. Even though her heart was broken into a million pieces she would still make sure to look presentable.

Amanda looked at herself in the mirror and smiled, but behind that small was a bigger pain. She grabbed her bag and keys and made her way to the bakery.

She unlocked the doors and turned on the lights from the place. She began putting the sweets on display. The walls were painted a soft blue. The place was cozy and inviting. She loved the way the bakery smelled. She found herself smiling again despite the pain.

In a matter of time people started to come in and place their order. Amanda her bakery was famous for all her sweets and bakes that she made herself every morning and her amazing cup of coffee that can boost up a person.

She remembered everyone by their name. She was very good at remembering names and everyone at the bakery loved her. She always welcomed them with a bright beautiful smile.

Everything was running smoothly until the bell above the door rang and James walked in. Her heart sank to the floor. She just wanted the floor to open up and swallow her. Why was he here? She couldn't stand the sight of him.

He came walking and made his way to the counter. Amanda instantly tried to find something to keep herself occupied so she wouldn't have to talk to him.

James leaned on the counter and kept on looking at her as Amanda was wiping off the already cleaned counter. James noticed that and cleared his throat. With anger Amanda looked up at him and simply stared him down in his eyes.

James wasn't intimidated by her and let out a charming smile.

"Goodmorning beautiful"

He said leaning over to get a kiss. Amanda simply turned her cheek and he ended up kissing her cheek. He groaned with anger, but he controlled himself in front of everybody.

"Kiss me"

He simply said and Amanda looked at him and took a step back.

"Never. I told you already we're done James. I'm not your girlfriend anymore, so i'm kindly asking you to leave right now"

She said in a low voice. She didn't want to cause any drama, especially in her own bakery.

James's face turned to anger and he groaned. Right then a couple left and Amanda took the cloth to go clean the table. As she was about to pass James he grabbed by her arm and held her roughly to him. He lowered his mouth to her ear.

"And I told you already we're not done. No one else will have you"

He said lowering his voice, which made him sound even more scarier. With every word that he said, he gripped her hand tighter. She knew that would leave an ugly bruise.

At that moment the bell over the bakery tinkled merrily, at odds with the tension in the room. Both turned their heads toward the sound. Amanda's breath caught in her throat.
