Louis looked around the table with a deep sigh. The dinner was for Simon as it seems because it was his birthday today and Louis just now found out about it. So he really still doesn't see why he's here.

They are sitting at a round table with almost half the workers in Mr. Cowell's building. Paul said most would be there so Louis' sitting in between Paul and Harry. The blue eyed boy wasn't to happy to be there right now. But he has not been out to a fancy restaurant in so long. So maybe it wasn't all bad.

"So Louis, I heard about your books success." This man wearing a tailored suit smiled with his perfect straight teeth. He was attractive if you asked Louis but he would never say that out loud to anyone. Even though most think he is bi. You love who you love, is Louis' motto.

"Yes his book is doing fantastic, we are working on the second now during the book tour." Paul stepped up for Louis since he seen him not answering the man anytime soon. The guy nodded still looking at Louis.

"I've read it. It was really an amazing love story." The guy complemented. Louis smiled and nodded to him as a thanks. The guy seemed like he really wanted to get Louis to talk for some unknown reason. Louis just sat there and ate the salad that they brought out for starters. Some ate soup but Louis choice the salad.

"So Simon, do you have anything planned with your wife for your birthday?" Harry asked wiggling his eyebrows making everyone let out a laugh including Simon.

"She already gave me my present." Mr. Cowell smirked with a wink in Harry's direction.

"What'd she give you?" Another voice came in.

"A gentlemen doesn't kiss and tell." Everyone howled at that. Louis rolled his eyes annoyed and had a headache. Why is he here now? They all are so sure of themselves, so confident. Louis only wished he had what everyone had.

The dinner went on whith Harry not talking to Louis at all. Cameras were flashing outside of the windows trying to get a peek at the famous Simon Cowells invitation list. There were famous singers, song writers, dancers, even book writers all at this little celebration having a great time in everyone else's case. Paul was talking with Simon, telling jokes and eating his desert. Louis was right now so full his beat could probably pop. Sad really.

The dinner had to come to a close finally on Louis' part. Nothing exciting happened. He just listened to all the latest gossip in everyone's life. Harry looked over to him once or twice but never tried to make conversation. Louis was confused about that. He wanted the blue eyed boy to come so bad but never even payed attention to him. Louis was alittle disappointed really.

"Ready to go Louis?" Paul asked with a smile. Louis nodded fast making the latter let out a chuckle. When the stood Paul shook hands with almost everyone saying farewells and such. Louis shok hands as well when they reached for his hand.

"Hello," someone called when Louis was about to walk off with Paul. He turned around and seen the man once again from earlier. With his dark brown hair that almost looked black and handsome brown eyes. He had his perfect tailored suit still as perfect as before not like it would have changed or anything.

"You never got to introduce yourself to me." He smiled his charming smile. Louis looked to Paul and Paul just shrugged waving to Louis telling him to introduce himself.

"I'm Louis Tomlinson." Louis said nervously. He was just too handsome for his own good.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Ben Affleck." He smirked a little when he seen the light blush graze Louis' features. Louis' seen him many times in movies. He's quite popular and very handsome.
